Building SHÉ:KON is all about Building DIY Boat Kit in our Back Yard. Ours is a modified TW28, Diesel Powered trawler, from BoatBuilderCentral.com
But this was a BIG milestone for us, getting the entire forward end of the boat glassed. This is not the final glassing, a later lamination of lighter glass will make up the final finish, with fairing.
Lori joins me to knock this job off as quickly as possible. It was a cooler day but still warm in the boat shed. I'd guess low 80's F up on the bow.
This video is a bit of an experiment. I would normally take over 2 hrs of video footage from multiple cameras and spend 8 hours trying to edit it down into something more reasonable. This time I didn't. As I mentioned in my previous video I was getting way too stressed out struggling with cameras and editing etc. This is a back to basics, minimally edited and much longer video.
I do appreciate your investment in time to watch our videos. Our watch time metric here on YT really sucks but this is raw boat building. It's more often than not, boring, monotonous, tedius and frustrating, for you to watch and us to do. We do thank you for watching as much as you can till your eyes start to bleed. ;-) You are our heros!

Holy smokes, I didn’t think you were gonna make it there at the end, must be a great slow hardener. There you have it, good job! Just had surgery on my elbow and was looking for something long to watch, so this was perfect, thanks!
