@@_John_P yes I have, it's my favourite aircraft. Although we now have the A350 - 1000 and I like this aircraft too! I guess I'm spoilt for choice.

@@lagdroid0017 yes we are taking delivery of these aircraft also. I think delivery will start in the second half of next year. 😊. So going forward our fleet will consist of the 787-9, A350 - 1000 and the A330 - 900

They considered the 777-300ER & 777X but decided on the 787-8/9 and the A350-1000 (747 replacement)

I've always liked VA, mainly cause i hate BA, but with you dropping the LHR-NRT route which was the only route i ever flew with you, so alas i will be using all my frequent flyer miles for a free flight to Tokyo in January then drop you like a bad habit.

They can, but not, with is a shame. The 787 has the right to have a nice interior just as any plane. A great example is ANA 787 bussness.

A380 isn't the best plane for Virgin Atlantic

The first ever 787-8 in Europe was LOT Polish airlines on Nov 15/2012. The first 787-9 in Europe was Virgin the one shown here. Where the hell did you get that Thomson was the first 787 in Europe?.

Nope. The windows are 30% larger than traditional aircraft, therefore any passenger can see outside the window from any location in the aircraft.

Chris Bird They have A320, A330, A340, A350 orders, A380 order. The only boeing they have is 747 and 787 and yet you say Virgin doesn't like Airbus? Sure!

Andrew Anane Disagree, Virgin use to have A320s, but retired them. I 100% know Virgin Atlantic have either not or cancelled there Orders of A380. But the rest I don't know.

Lab Haha you're really a fool ain't you. If Virgin hates Airbus why did they buy A320's instead of 737's? Why did they order A330's instead of 767? Virgin Atlantic has like 10 orders for A380's and It's not cancelled. And they also have tons of orders for A350's so I don't know what you mean by Virgin hates Airbus when it's actually the other way round, Virgin HATES boeing! The only boeing they operate are 747 and 787 whereas they operate almost ALL AIRBUS PLANES!!
