So the receiver completely lost communication with the radio right on take off after many flights flown prior to this crash. It's still unknown what caused this.

I think maybe reverse ailerons or elevons both will do this It did not look like a stall

@@RCPlaneReviewer I would recommend deflecting each control surface and putting pressure on each one to make sure they are all operating correctly between each flight. I have a 12s balsa L39 that I almost lost because one of the elevator servos gave out in the air. I 100% would have caught it had I done the preflight checks on the control surfaces before the flight.

I really do hate seeing people break their really nice planes!You wouldn’t believe how much a few ounces of carbon fiber rods will strengthen your airframe- definitely worth the $50!

When I first got started in RC flying the all veteran guys told me, “Everybody crashes”. I crashed so much learning but I watched them crash too. Crashed my best plane a few weeks ago, bad mistake I let it go over my head towards some trees low and slow while landing. Tried to save it with throttle and elevator but the full flaps just drove the nose straight into the ground. it is always a very sad feeling. For me they are almost trusted friends.

Nice plane. Maybe not enough ground speed before rotation. Wing stall as the ailerons were unable to roll it left.

rotating and lift-off was not the problem, it's the immediate steep climb. would have been better to lift-off and shallow climb while getting wheels and flaps up to gather speed.

Heres a possible.. .. IF THERE'S A CELLPHONE WITHIN 10/15 FEET OF YOU..... Its RF WILL!!! CANCEL THE TRANSMISSION BETWEEN RADIO AND YOUR BIRD!! IF ANYONE DOESN'T BELIEVE THAT ... Take your airframe up to ceiling and have yer buddy make a call!! Ask me how I know!!

@@RCPlaneReviewer yeah brother I've had it happen on two occasions that I am absolutely shure of! There was someone standing next to me who got an incoming call .. thankfully I was in a low angle climb at about 200' level.. Had NO imput control.. until I walked away 20feet or so.. Another time had a moment when in a hard bank with the spitfire forgot i had my phone on me and got a notification only lasted for a second or two.. .. At first I thought this was being all caused by microwave towers.??!! After having crashed on take off P-39 came up and immediately went into a tip stall.. Now after some time I firmly believe some form of RF cellular interference most definitely!! P-39 fly's better than ever after repairs.. crayzee how that is!!

I am about to.. mainly because the costs of accidents like this and that nasty feeling about loosing models, time spent building and fixing it.. I am most likely to go back to war simulators on a PC and this is going to be it if at all. I am fed up with all the problems this hobby have plus space needed.

Roll and tipstall...now I'm scared to maiden...people keep mentioning the elevator servo, but it didn't appear to be a pitch issue, seemed like it rotated without any problems, just rolled over?...I got a call from Alpha at motion RC, and they sent me a more powerful elevator servo due to peoples' concerns...still haven't maidened her yet.

Perhaps he did not have enough ground speed before rotating? I use to fly real airplanes and from a rough field I was taught to let the plane hop up into ground effect and build up airspeed before attempting to climb out of ground effect.

@@chrismanning1171I think you mean ground roll speed. Groundspeed is the aircraft's speed relative to the ground and normally slower than airspeed on takeoff into wind. True airspeed is a relevant factor irrespective of whether the aircraft is still in contact with the ground or flying.

That can 100% be fixed. Highly recommend going to home Depot and purchase "plastic wood" it's great for fixing crashes! Plastic wood is a filler in a tube very easy to work with and sand

I dont think it's a wingstall. With 2x 5000mah 6s Lipo This Jet is heavy and wont take off if the airspeed is not enough. I think the amount of thrust is unequal midair. Looks like right side EDF is losing thrust all of a sudden. Might be faulty ESC or some loose wires

Two Engines are not evenly powered .....and too early to make turn.....under the safe speed.... That will push to Mig-29 to one side and lost control... and hit the ground.......Sorry to see that!

@@RCPlaneReviewer That jet has a history of elevator failure. I bought mine after they “upgraded” the servos….and one side still failed. I ended up installing 60 oz HiTecs. Honestly I am getting tired of servos failing on these pricey pnp’s. You and I have talked about the flap servo failing on both the Aerofoam L-39 and the HSD ME-262. Just charge me an extra 150$ and install decent servos. I just had a conversation with Banana Hobby CS. They suggested I purchase the “Turbine Version” servos for the flaps on the L-39. They were 10 bucks more per servo then the standard ones. I am just glad it was a flap servo and not a aileron …..

i bet it was that spektrum radio system. them gyros give me nothing but accidents. and horizon wont warranty them. so just go buy something like elrs or radiomaster system.
