I’ve just bought the SD 1953. (2 weeks ago). In two weeks, it’s gained 28 seconds. That’ll do me. Don’t trust the depth rating though, as neither are certified for depths written on them. Fantastic value for money. All the best👍🏾🇬🇧

I did not either... However, both the SD1953 and the Watchdivers WD1680 do go beyond 300 meters deep! It's very impressive! I have tested both watchers several times between 300 - 350 meters deep and there are no issues at all!! Moreover, my SD1953 used to gain 32 seconds per day, but I was easily able to regulate it on my own (I have the required tools to do so), and during the last 6 months, it only gains 4 secs per day. You may take it to your local watch repair center(a very easy fix), and they will charge you between $15 to 20.00. It's worth every penny! Cheers 🙂

If you don’t dive then it doesn’t matter. The time can be adjusted. I have dived with Steeldive and Addiesdives watches. No issues at all.

With all that Rocky soundtrack, I was expecting a knockout blow and a final winner... Sadly, it wasn't to be. Maybe there's a sequel in the making?... 😜 I watched a lot of YT reviews and then bought the Steeldive SD1953. I've had it a couple of weeks and am absolutely delighted with it. Mine has terrific build quality should give trouble free service for years. I genuinely don't think you can beat it for features/price.

Is it manufactured by same company?

I don't know .

@@14dolphins11 I suspect so. The only difference is the watch bracelets. They are 2nd party sourced so it stands to reason Watch dives would be using a different but comparable bracelet. I own the Steeldive 1953 but my Steeldive 1970 is my main go-to watch. If you call the Steeldive 1953 and the Watchdive comparable model amazing you would have to call the Steeldive Captain Willard 1970 a three run homer hit out of the park;. There is nothing you can compare it to including the original Seiko Captain Willard which costs thousands of dollars more.

I’ve been told by a few people that Watchdive is a sub brand of San Martin.

@johnnycarm9588 15 minutes ago I have three steeldives, two subs and the 50 fathoms. These are great looking and work perfectly. I have just recently learned about watchdives and I like the fact that watchdives have a lume pip and a little better clasp. I am gona get a Kermit watchdives. Both brands to me are a better size, 40 mm feels just right. pagani subs look great also, but have a larger case size at 43mm.

Yeah , the Steeldives are great . And so are the Watchdives . They are both built like a Tank .
