This is the best tutorial on how to setup and use the GA-2100. I got one a week ago and had no clue on how to calibrate the hands. Really useful to know how to get the hands out of the way of the display as well. The speed and detail of your tutorial is great!

Useful tip when you are in the world time zone mode, you do not have to wait until the city name finishes scrolling to display the time. You can skip this animation and display the time instantly by pressing the adjust button once. Another tip is if you accidentally click the mode button or are in a mode setting and you want to quickly go back to home without continuously pressing the mode button, you can press and hold the mode button to take you back to home quickly.

I must admit I was intimidated at the thought of setting this watch when I received it a couple of days ago. But your tutorial made it super-easy. Thank you for posting this video, sir!!

A useful tip for the hand shift function: press the light button FIRST and then the MODE button. It's more effective than trying to do it simultaneously. Also, do exactly the same to return them to their regular position. There is no need to click the mode button, as this function works independently.

What a life saver. My analog hands were misaligned and this video helped me get back to showing the right time. Big thanks, definitely earned my subscription.

This watch has arrived in my hands and I don't regret buying this watch at all. Honestly, this is the best watch I've ever owned. The first positive impression when I saw and wore this watch is that the design is very good and it fits my hand very well because the size is not too big but not too small either. Then my first negative impression was that it took me quite a while to look at this clock because the numerals on the watch were dark too. however, when I use it longer, I don't think this is too much of a problem because this watch has a light display.

check out 3:30 carefully. even you adjust the hands at 12:00 position, the space between right and left side is not equal. I have ga 2100 1adr. It has same problem. If you have this model, you can also realize this alignment problem when the minute hand at 45 position and some parts of dial. As I understand some products have this alignment problems and some doesn't have. It's a manufacture issue. However, it's obvious that ga 2100 serie is so cool and impressive. Thanks for the video.

This is simple but can be a little tricky at first. I picked up both a ga2100 red and gab2100 blue. The Bluetooth and the higher quality buckle makes the newer version the best option for me. However the RED is only available in the older version.

Thanks for this video! Mine just came today, and the one I got was a Japanese import model and the manual had basically every language except for English in it. I was struggling hardcore with figuring everything out on my own. I'm not used to watches that you can't adjust with a crown haha.

Hey there!! Greetings from the UK!! I've just purchased one of these watches, couldn't be happier with it. However, I simply couldn't have set it up without this tutorial. The instructions it came with do show you how to set up features on your watch, but not in the order that they need setting up in. I followed your tutorial down to the letter and you couldn't have explained it better. Thank you so much for saving me the time and effort that I would otherwise have to have put in to get it up and running. P. S I went for the A3 (green dial and hour markers) as I wanted a change from sleeker looking watches and was after more of a rugged watch, so this is my first G- SHOCK - I have a feeling that it won't be my last🤣!! I’ve worn the Casio w800 through university 10+ years ago, then since adult life have been switching between a Seiko chrono & the Casio royale ae1200, but this is my first Casio G-shock; quite similar set up/functions to other Casios it seems… the 2100 is a beautiful watch & I am very satisfied , but I do wish it had time shift & the 4 quick time zones on the home screen without going into WT mode, and I wish it also had a 1-ON (instead of just ON/OFF) feature for the alarms…but can’t have everything! Thanks again!
