Hi guys.. You can't find mechanical hand wound watch in hmt website, I already gave 3 options if in this 3 you cant find, then go for the 4th option, The watch that I got delivered from Divine watch house was new and original, they also have modded watches for people who like for example mint dial kohinoor which is not made by HMT, they also have see through caseback which is aftermarket because hmt doesn't make see thru caseback, i checked the hmt watch they sent and its movement and all is good, obviously modded watches have aftermarket parts, you can buy that's why I have recommended..

My Father owned a watch shop, and, I have worked in his shop many years back. There were many models of automatic and hand wound watches. The biggest sellers were, Kanchan, Suraj, Rajat Tareeq in the automatic segments and, Kohinoor, Vijay, Sona, Pilot and many others, the names of which I have forgotten now. My elder uncle wore HMT Kanchan for nearly three to four decades. Anyway, nostalgic!!

Hey..... I also have HMT Kanchan in my small collection (own by my father). It does features day & date complications. Last year got this watch serviced from an expert watchmaker & its running superb now. I do have other wayches as well in my collection but this holds great value for me.....

You are doing a wonderful job in spreading awareness about good watches. Why waste your valuable time on hmt watches ? Non-availabilty of recommended, value for money mechanical watches show that the company might still be suffering from past PSU syndrome. I have owned hmt mechanical watches in the last century.Not much to say in favour. Much more options are available to buyers now.

Not anymore. They are jacking up the prices like anything. We should buy HMT only if the watches are below 5k. For 10k and above I can get seiko watches.

मेरे पास, HMT rajat model, 1980, है। जो मुझे पिताजी ने मुझे, मेरे 9th pass करने पर 1980 में मुझे दी थी। मुझे बहुत अच्छी लगती है। लेकिन दुःख है कि, वो चलती नहीं, 12साल पहले ठीक करवाई थी, फिर खराब हो गई। अब कोई mechenic मिलता नहीं ठीक करने वाला, बस किसी को ढूंढता रहता हूं।
