Great Video! Question you did a lug to lug of about 46mm on the black Daytona. Do the SELs make the watch sit out even farther?

152-155 Gramms for different length of oysterflex on 116615.

The Rubber B is awesome, the Oysterflex not so much IMO

Aasa C I own the Rose Gold Pearl Daytona wt rubber strap and I can honestly say the comfort from the wrist band is by far most comfortable wearable watch with weight. There some built in tech added into the rubber near link set and the springy affect Makes for the magic

What I don't understand why is it that steel are so desirable?? why is cheap still so desirable I would much rather have a gold watch perhaps platinum or white gold. I just purchased a Daytona and white gold with a black dial and diamonds numeral it is beautiful.I still wish they made it 42 mm as I have a big rest but I think it's a lovely watch. What is it about steel is it because it's cheap? after all isn't the point of wearing a watch to be a bit flashy isn't it like jewelry? I mean you could use your cell phone or just a basic Casio to tell time if you want to tell time. So the whole point of a watch is that it's jewelry and it should have some flash do it. So why the hype about steel? I wouldn't give a steel watch a second glance

Steel is a lot harder then gold, so much more suitable for everyday wear. And yes, also cheaper. The amount of people that can afford a steel Rolex is already relatively small, let alone a gold one. Although that difference is less now with these ridiculous grey market prices.

To me the way of somehow artificially keeping supply low isn’t acceptable! In that respect I by principle don’t buy this brand, right or wrong....

Rolex is marketing genius. either you like it or not. there is a reason why they have been no 1 for so long.

Panda .... no.1 in what? If you think about units sold it is Apple and if you think about true watchmaking they are not ranked as ultra-luxury or high-end luxury watches but in the sector below. They do for sure great watches and even better marketing though...

wait what?? are you serious here? you are comparing rolex with apple? thats apple and orange. Rolex is no 1 as the most recognized luxury watch. They are not ultra luxury but they are luxury watch. They are no 1 because they make 1 million watches in a year and everybody pay top dollars for their steel sport models. You may say because they manipulate the supply, well now ask this, why other brands dont follow what rolex does if it really is as easy as it sounds? BECAUSE THEY CANT!!! they dont have strong brand as rolex. you can deny it all you want but this is the truth. same as you, i dont like this practice too but they really do what is best for them. At the end of the day, this is luxury to begin with, nothing makes sense. And with this so much money printing around the world, i would have done the same as rolex does. i used to not be able to accept about their practice but now, i embrace it and respect them. They can restrict the supply and people still chase them, that is BRAND POWER! if IWC / Omega did the same, their brand would crash.

@@kittenfan I wouldn't say they are number one patek Philippe holds that title for the same type of antics holding back supply and demand
