The only thing a parking break is going to do for you at the boat ramp is let your entire rig slip into the water when the pads gets wet. If your transmission is so bad that you cant rely on park on a 20 degree slope you should consider replacing it. NEVER trust a parking break at a ramp..

Used to launch my rib alone at our town ramp, or slip as we call them. It's ridiculously narrow, maybe 12 ft...about 30 degrees steep and the bottom section covered in seaweed. You're also guaranteed an audience because very few use it and its at the town harbour. The one nasty moment was when the whole rig started sliding....boat , trailer landrover. We went into the wall that's on the town side. The other side is a three metre drop into the harbour. Mainly luck we slid that way. Other than that, with practise and care and slow speed, I used to quite enjoy it. Like you it's hard to watch this. But fun.

Doesn't matter if what you want, if a person is standing/sitting on public property then they can record anything they can see with the exception of a few military installations. Here's a tidbit. It's legal to stand on the public sidewalk in front of your house and record you in your house if your blinds are open. That may not be the proper thing to do but it's legal to do so. You've a right to privacy but you have to create that privacy by closing the blinds-or owning enough property one can't even see your house from public use property.

His first mistake was the patriots license plate cover! Good to see the full video to get the whole story. That jerk was drunk as 💩🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 almost sinking the truck, and barely able to stand. He's just a miserable excuse for a human being. You didn't do a damn thing wrong papa milo! Next jerk you get like him, just try and ignore it. If you have to, call the 🚔 but jerks like him are a dime a dozen, they're just not worth it.

captain should have listened to weather reports and checked tides. outgoing tide against incoming wind makes for some nasty conditions. He made it that far before attempting to turn around. He probably should have gone out a bit farther at that point and turned around with no possible obstacles.

@@littleangel5101 your friend the attorney lol. Ok. The man had a conversation with the people on the boat that was being recorded. As soon as he said he doesn't consent, that should have been it. Your "lawyer friend" should be embarrassed that some stumbling drunk on a boat ramp knows more than him. I suggest he go back to law school and you brush up on your reading comprehension. You were being an equal t*t in this situation. Maybe he was a newbie at boating - you don’t know. Instead of fanning their flame by irritating him when you could see he was having trouble you should have went and tried to help. Have a bit of courtesy instead of quoting your rights there James Madison. For first timers there is lots going on - making sure the leg is up on the motor, trying to get to the trailer without trying to be the hot shot like the little fishy boats thinking they are showing everyone their captaining skills by ramming onto the trailer. More than once they have hit loading ramps with the leg or prop in shallow water. I have had to fix many of them. Equally ridiculous and careless is the guys that launch by unlatching and wheel back at 5 mph and then hit the binders letting the boat go flying. Next time show a bit of courtesy which could go a long way. Would have been simple for you or him to walk or swim, if necessary, the winch line out and snap it onto the eye. Simple and everyone goes away happy. Oh yeah I forgot the water was too dirty for you.@@milonewadventure1583
