Wisecracking mercenary Deadpool meets Russell, an angry teenage mutant who lives at an orphanage. I love the fact that in the first movie, he told his blind roommate "there's about 116 kilos of cocaine buried somewhere in the apartment, right next to the cure for blindness" and in this one under the floorboard there's bags of cocaine and a tin can with "cure for blindness" written on it.

Domino is lucky because she sucks the luck out of everyone around her. Which is why she works well with DP. She can get Wade killed hundreds of times and he’ll survive. Which is why they make a good team.

Nah, she doesn't suck away other people's luck, Domino's luck is just good to _her._ People keep confusing her with Black Cat, whose entire power works by giving others bad luck. But it's the same results, different reason.

Domino's power is primarily Probability Manipulation. She *needs* to *actively* making a decision/action in order to trigger her power. Anything she does *will always be in her favor*

So in the comics, Cable and Deadpool share a teleporting system called bodyslide - they can't use it at the same time, but it does give them unlimited teleportation capacity other than that. It was based on Cable's original time travel system. Also, Cable's mom and dad are Jean Grey and Scott Summers from X-men. His name is Nathan Summers. Also, if you want parts of D&W to make better sense, watch the Loki tv-show. Both seasons.

There are so many easter eggs in this movie. I actually didn't know about The Goonies' reference. When I first saw The Goonies, Josh Brolin wasn't an actor I recognized. Speaking of recognized actors, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt are in this movie.

There is a difference between mutants and people with general abilities in the comics, someone like Spiderman or The Hulk or Deadpool that gained abilities through artificial means are considered "mutates" instead of "mutants". This is because they have a dormant gene given to ancient humans by a race of godlike aliens called "The Celestials".

i always made the distinction as those born with the mutant gene, and those that gain powers through science. there are always outliers, like aliens, androids etc, but most fall into those two categories

Although I suppose they technically still count as aliens, they aren’t like the other aliens that are basically just people from far away. Also, mutates do not necessarily have to be artificial. It can be ANYTHING that makes a human a superhuman. Be it science, nature, magic, etc. If it’s the X-Gene, then they are called mutants. If it’s the terrigenesis, they are called inhumans. As for Spider-Man, I wouldn’t say his powers are artificial. The spider that bit him was a mystical spider that was meant to give him power. The science experiment was purely a coincidence and it only made the spider radioactive. Its magical nature is the reason why Peter has powers.

Great reaction! The 1 after-credits scene you missed was that he went back in time and killed baby Hitler. Such a hilarious end cap considering that was mentioned earlier in the film. Can't wait for Deadpool and Wolverine in a couple more months!

He let him live, actually. He realized that baby Hitler was only screaming and angry because he was left alone in a sh*tty diaper. So basically Dead pool changes him and history is changed forever. That's what I got out of it anyway.

I just realized why Wade hugged his girl's killer. Wade started it. He was searching for the guy and the guy was also seeking revenge for his buddies Wade killed. And if Wade hadnt thrown the knife, the guy wouldnt have flinched and accidently shoot the wrong person. Wade stopped and stared at him because they were essentially doing the same thing. So, he realized it was irony and just threw both themselves under the bus (literally and figuratively) to illustrate it.

deadpool trying to cut the bullets in half on that convoy is a call back to when Reynolds played the terrible version of Deadpool, in the Wolverine movies, and stopped bullets all the time by swinging his swords around.

Juggernaut is a pretty interesting character. He’s not a mutant. In the comics he is the adopted brother of professor x in some universes. He grows up resenting the preferential treatment Charles gets. At one point in a cave he finds the crimson gem of cyttorak that gives him mystical powers and makes him an unstoppable force. Once he gains momentum, nothing can stop him. His helmet is designed kind of like magneto’s so that Charles can’t invade his mind. He is a walking tank that can’t be mind controlled. The x men have had some serious run ins with him where even cyclops can’t hurt him with his powers.

The deeper side of Domino's power is that she indirectly absorbs the "luck" or the possibility of everything going right from everyone around her to benefit her. One of my favorite characters

Cable first appeared in New Mutants #97 in 1990. He is the son of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Madelyn Pryor (a clone of Jean Grey). Cable is from the future and he was infected with a Tech-Organic virus as an infant. The Mutant terrorist, Stryfe, is a clone of Cable and one of his most deadly enemies. He is often known for working with Deadpool, Wolverine and the X-Men.

mutants are born with the x gene that makes them technically from the species 'homo superior' the next evolutionary step after homo sapiens(what we are). deadpool was experimented on and given gene therapy to trigger a mutation via the x gene so hes kind of an aftermarket mutant. other super heros like captain america, the hulk or spiderman gained their powers through science that didnt involve triggering an xgene mutation. (super soldier serum cap, gamma blast hulk so on). someone like thor is a god and has access to magical powers, and the fantastic four were bombarded by cosmic rays in a space shuttle mission. so no not all people with powers in the marvel universe are mutants.

My only complaint about this movie is that Cable stranded himself because the Teddy Bear wasn't burnt anymore. What if all they did was change where Flamefist murders Cable's family in the future, and the house doesn't get burned down? That assumption is all based upon a toy; no one verifies anything. But whatever; it's still one of the funniest movies ever. Great production can fill a lot of cracks.

11:15 lol Mair, I was so confused at first, but it looked like something fell off your desk off screen at the worst time so ya'll just BLINKED mentally trying to process what fell and then by the time you came back into your bodies, the fast quick scene was over lol. Don't worry, not mad lol. It seems like ya'll have a love hate relationship with your marvel fans hahaha. But if anything, that single 1 line edit was so worth it. lol. I think marvel fans get antsy because they want you to enjoy something and not miss details intentionally by talking over it or not prioritizing show orders etc... buuttt things like this are absolutely accidental and happens to all of us, and if you didn't put that edit in, people might have thought you didn't care for the scene, but that little bout of honesty with the edit of "what happened here , how did we miss this" , if anything? it is SO fitting that this 4th wall break from ya'll happened in the show known for its wall breaks, and the wall break happened WHILE the movie wall broke about the lack of wall breaks from other shows LOL... it's very meta.

Mair: *constantly calls Cable as "The Cable Guy." Me: *imagines Jim Carrey as Cable* X Force is an actual team in the Marvel comics. But for comedic intentions, the Deadpool 2 version of X Force is alternated. In the comics the only members of X Force that are in Deadpool 2 are Deadpool, Colossus, Cable, and Domino.

i love that amung the names deadpool calls cable one eyed Willey and thanos are two of them referancing the goonies and avengers because the actor who plays cable is the older brother in the goonies and Thanos and im assuming the john connor is because hes part terminator. well that makes sense the only marvel or dc movies i remeber seeing are the deadpool movies and with time travel being against the rules that would explain why the TVA is after DP in deadpool 3

No, not everyone with powers are considered mutants. Deadpool is a mutant because he gained his abilities from the mutant gene, although normally it’s activated naturally through life and not with a serum helping along with torture. There are many other classifications of power that get complicated considering the dozens of ways people get powers in the marvel universe.

sorry, but this was one of the worst reactions I've seen of this movie, ever. Talking, joking, laughing, sh-tting around missing one-liners, I'm not even gonna mention the X-men in the room. I dont understand people like this. Do you guys behave like this when you go to the Cinemas as well? If so, I'm sure the rest of the audience just loves you,.. When you watch someone "react" to a movie/show/music/whatever, we're watching the reaction. But in this so called reaction, it's hard to know if WE are here to watch your reacting to a movie, or if we are here to watch you guys trying to be entertaining and 'funny'. Well the dude is somewhat entertaining at least to be fair. The misses on the other hand, who the heck stole her lunch money? More often than not, *everyone* is laughing, except her, she's stone cold in her expression like "uh...eh...hm....what?". yikes.

If the comics are anything to go by, dead pool can’t die because he can regenerate even from a single drop of blood. His healing factor is even stronger than wolverine’s.

15:35 To be a mutant, you specifically have to be a human born with an X-Gene. No gene = not a mutant As for the collars working on anyone, I doubt it. Thor is a god, for example. I also doubt it would work on humans with magic, unless it’s a device that specifically prevents magic. And I definitely doubt it would work on people that are not human or completely human. Like vampires.

These movies are so cleverly fone. And i wasnt sure at first how I was going to feel about the domino character, but she was absolutely fantastic. Ryan Reynolds is to Deadpool as RDJ is to Tony Stark and Hugh Jackman is Wolverine. I thought this was a fantastic sequel. I just wasn’t too keen on the whole Russell character. It just didn’t do it for me.

As a Power Rangers fan the movie was kinda mid not gonna lie, they cut out so many scenes, and they were planning a 2nd movie but the film failed to break even in the box office. Now we don’t even know.
