It sounds fun, but I hate playing weird characters like this. Makes my skin crawl. I couldn't wait to get out of that gross brown shirt. #sketch #comedy #sketchcomedy

Hehehe
@scriptself6092
Cool how you obtain teleportation ability after getting a film degree
@ozzybaba3128
The film guy being a Wes Anderson character makes it so much funnier
@mrtoestie2707
That little run/walk up to the camera proceeded with "Do you even like films" was perfect
@localidiot9524
sustaining both eye contact and non-eye contact is so weird, yet this managed to do just that
@ethanomcbride
This dude is like a giant judgmental bird
@dont.say.alec.
My guilty pleasure and equally red flag is to ask for the most obscure, random, 2000-ish indie films I know in HMVs or Cex DVD shops, knowing they won't have them in stock.
@tylervigue3878
My man filmed his video in 50fps just to tick off all the film students 😅
@TheGameforestguy
Okay but the reaction to "sometimes I watch movies at 1.5x speed" is honestly reasonable
@derpleyew
As someone with a film degree this is frighteningly accurate. The specificity of Kill Bill Vol. 1 and then casually dropping Birth of A Nation into the conversation. Haunting.
@--Dragon---
as a film student i know that film students are a threat to humanity when they watch a bad movie
@gabriellegoodwin4422
I want to talk about the cinematography and lighting. How that panning shot across the room is meant to foreshadow the main character’s future career in a wide open desert on a military operation that will lead to her death but also her discovery of her true purpose. But no one cares so I say “yeah I liked it”.
@Wifgargfhaurh
I like how this sounds like a supervillain monologue and an average film critic at the same time
@windy6587
Like how the normal guy stays in one shot and the film student needs multiple camera angles
@sexybeast1910
I used to be that friend but like instead of a film student i was a student of Doug Walker and his squadron of reviewers. I became quite the lord of destruction of cinema, but like my favorite movie was Click because i wanted to be Adam Sandler in that moment and have the remote but like i would use it in a smart way and get the most out of it.
@space_1073
This is the type of film student to watch just the tarantino movies and scorsese gangster films and base their whole personality around it 🤣
@MorganTaylor737
Lmao the heavy breathing after ‘NOT godfather part 3’ is dead on
@urbaneblobfish
This is what Wes Anderson sees when he drops acid
@TobiBaronski
Not a film student but that ending is the correct reaction to that last take
@Vibakari
The most powerful cinematic tool of them all: the jumpscare
