My wife and I love this game! I watched the "How to play" video a couple of weeks ago and told my wife about it. Then we bumped into it in a gamestore and immediately bought it. It's so addicting, even though I seem to loose a lot.

If you have a potion to remove one, remove the blue marble all the way to the right 2nd row up. Then, for your turn remove the red marble in the middle of the same row. That will cause explosion for blue, then yellow, then red. Whole row clear!

Hope you like my suggestion Pep: 1. Take the red marble in the middle of the 4th row to cause an explosion taking 2 blue and 3 yellow 2. Use the Abyssal potion to take the black, yellow and red marbles from the inner rows (2nd, 3rd &4th), and ask the professor to take 1 last red marble from anywhere but the bottom 3. That would complete both potions, a tree of a kind (4pts) of Abyssal and leave you with 2 blue and 1 yellow in the flask to easy complete another Abyssal (6pts) also helping you to complete a set of 5 unique in the next turn. Note: also that would make an arrange of 1 marble of every color in the bottom to hopefully take in the next turn with the Abyssal just completed.

You guys are so fun! Great episode!! It's been a little while since I've seen Watch It Played and somehow it's gotten even better! (And it was top notch before). Even more smooth and professional!

if you are playing with kids, I got an idea for who is first player. Whoever got to the table first get to go first. They got to class early.

Fourth row, take out the blue near the top for -2 points, then grab the red in the middle. You'll end up with 3 blue, 3 yellow and 3 red. Then you'll have the 5 red you need and the 4 yellow you need, leaving 3 blue in your flask.

It was such a delight to watch your video! ^-^ I love the chemistry between you too! And the sound effects was beyond hillarious!! Another thing I loved about this video: the camera angle: despite really enjoying you guys, I really liked the focus on the game- this made it easier to follow the content and you really explained it in an utmost easy way! Pep could take a -2 point piece to grab the yellow marble on the top row two second from the bottom. Then he could take the middle black marble from that same row. This would allow him to finish one of his potions, complete a set of 5, and then be ready to fill some of the black spaces on a new potion the next round (picking up the one on the left would be perfect!). He would also be making progress on the second potion as well.

Love this game, got so excited I filled up to 5 potions in my turn (I was drinking a lot) ..I didn't listen to the professor when he said I can't complete more than 2 potions per turn, oops, my bad. the instructions were a blur at first. Love the video, really helpful. thanks

Take the red ingredient, 4th row, 5th up. It'll trigger blue & yellow explosions & both Pep's potions need red & yellow.

This is why I wish Snape wasn't the Potions teacher in HP, because I think it's potentially the most interesting, fun subject for a wizard school. A lot of that gets lost when Rowling has to use those Potions chapters primarily as a way of characterising Snape as a jerk, and to give the protagonist a hard time. Anyway I'm going off on a weird one here - good vid guys! I have to demonstrate this at UKGE this weekend, so this was extremely helpful :)

If you take a -2 pts to pick the top blue of second to last row you can then take all the marbles (take the middle red one, which trigger the blues, which triggers the yellow, which triggers the red) so you will end up with 3 of each(blue, yellow, red). With the ones in your reserve you will be able to complete the potion on the left. Then if you really want you can drink you remaining bottle to pick a black and complete the second potion.

Pep...first it was the dice that went flying off the table....now marbles, what are we going to do????

Well, he should start by drinking his Abyssal draft to claim a red, a yellow, and a black from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rows. Having 2 reds and 1 yellow in his flask, he's now able to complete his Sands of Time potion. His Sands of Time potion can imitate an Abyssal draft, a potion of Magnetical Attraction, or a potion of Wisdom, but we can wait on that. Moving the two reds over to his remaining potion possible to craft this turn, he now has an empty flask, and a potion that requires 2 more reds and 2 more yellows. He should grab the red between the 2 blues in 4th row, yielding himself 1 more red, 2 blues, and 3 yellows, which means he has a flask with 1 yellow and 2 blues in it. Mimicking the potion of wisdom, he can drink the Sands of Time he got this turn to take a red from the group of 3 reds in the 3rd row. Not reasonable to give Rodney a clear row of 3 reds to take from, and this is just enough to complete his second potion this turn to keep up with the speed that Rodney has been creating potions. Having 2 blues and 1 yellow in his flasks already, Pep should either take the fourth or the fifth potion as a replacement, and then take the first potion, so that he'll have a greater amount of potion types he'll be able to mimick in future turns if he can get more Sands of Time potions.

What was that Pep this is a game for children?? I am no child and I so want this game :-) Really entertaining play through, made me smile.

even though taking the 2nd blue one in 4th row would guarantee him 3 yellow marbles, I would rather go with taking the last yellow one... who knows what comes after that last red marble that with barely see, maybe even a blue one followed by yellow :)
