Imagine being Dr. Manhattan where you accidentally became so powerful, you find nothing intriguing or exciting anymore. Yeah, he has all these powers, can walk on the surface of the sun, and go places no human could ever imagine...but he's literally experiencing all of these aspects alone, nobody will understand him, nobody can fathom what he's done or been through...it's sorta depressing

@@flexgaming6840 maybe. But the premise is the same, innit? They both were so powerful they lost any drive to struggle. And now that I think on it, both are subversive parodies of the superhero genre, and the Watchmen are based on a graphic novel, a medium closer to manga than you'd think. So jokes on you, boyo.

I always think that his words: ''A clock without a craftsman'' refers to existence itself not being made by a creator, being a random event and everything that happens in this random event is also random. And I think it's really surprising to see that a being like Dr. Manhattan, so powerful, is not even sure if God exists, if something higher than he exists.

I think Dr. Manhattan made the right move by walking away from Earth and humanity all together and letting them deal with whatever fate befalls them It’s sad humanity was on the verge of destruction by their own doing and was expecting a being like Manhattan to fix it for them

Greetings, ancestors, I'm from mars at the year 2040. WW3 finally happened, earth became 100 percent Chernobyl. 80 percent life animals species died. Those who survived lived underground. We were lucky to join the mars program and living peacefully here on mars. Problem is, our resources are getting low. Were probably going to be the last humans in existence. I think we can still survive for 200 years in mars before our resources run out. Hopefully, earth would have cleaned itself by then.

Yeah. If I were him I would just let things run their course while peacefully watching from a distance in fascination and curiosity. I wouldn’t want to fix something and then all of a sudden everyone is relying on me to fix everything that goes wrong. Especially with so many different opinions and outlooks. Everyone would want something different and nobody would want the same thing. Not only that but I wouldn’t want to mess with the natural way of things in the first place and potentially ruin the future of what could’ve been. Like for instance if I had stopped someone from getting into a certain situation, but that situation-no matter how minor-eventually would lead them to grow as a person or something positive to that effect. It’s better to just handle my own problems with my powers while in isolation watching everyone else.

It's not even that, it's the fact that he sees time non-linearly. Outside of a few specific events that can interfere with it, Dr Manhattan knows everything that has and will happen.
