One of my favorite mistakes ever happened in an episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It was a scene with Lord Zedd, Goldar and Rito on Earth and for an entire scene the top half of Zedd's staff has duct tape wrapped around it. Edit: and of course you mentioned it.I posted before watching the entire video.

In Super Megaforce, the Rangers have the power to morph into any past Ranger team. The problem was that occasionally the Rangers would morph into teams that hadn’t ever been shown in America. Some fans lauded this as world building while others protested it as lazy and the footage could have easily been cut around.

The White Ranger was from a different season than the other rangers, while they both fought enemies from a 3rd season. It's honestly amazing that the original Power Rangers wasn't full of editing errors, considering how much work went into them

Why didn’t anyone pointed out the cards the Megaforce rangers used for power ups didn’t have the proper names but instead the original names from their Sentai counterpart?

I'd love to know what building firm Angel Grove and other Cities got in after a Zord battle, they would completely destroy the city and then in the next scene it's completely rebuilt! It's amazing!

The biggest mistake is the creation of Megaforce that botched the Power Rangers Anniversary crossover event.

In the same episode that added the gray strip to the green ranger helmet the white ranger's shield's shoulder isn't attached to the rest of the shield. Also in an early episode of MMPRs, a top view of the Megazord cockpit is shown and it shows the Dragonzord in battle mod controls, this was before the Dragonzord ever appeared.

Okay, well, for the continuity errors in Legendary Fail, specifically for the Turbo and Space Rangers, back in the Turbo episode, “The Robot Ranger,” Dimitria did say to the rangers “But perhaps, one day, the robot rangers will assist them.” So while the real rangers were the Space Rangers, the Turbo Rangers could’ve actually been the robot duplicates.

9. the reason for these issues is that Power Rangers had originally ordered original Megazord battle footage be shot after they ran out of Zyuranger mech footage, but then decided to switch out to Dairanger mech footage for the second season.

zedd is one of the sickest villian designs ever made imo. truly badass

I like how they acknowledge Megaforce using the Samurai theme song but they should have also mentioned Ninja Steel using the Dino Charge theme song cause that was completely noticeable every time they did that

The only mistake I've noticed is in Clash of the Red Rangers, when they finish off the General with their Spinswords, you can see the Yellow Ranger clip the Blue Ranger's leg with the Spinsword prop. Had to rewatch it a few times.

I haven’t seen this show since I was kid back in the 90s 🤣🤣🤣

Actually for anyone that watched Power Rangers Turbo the second TJ, Cassie and Carlos are not a mistake. They each had an android duplicate that could use their turbo Powers. So the Turbo team was Justin and four Android Rangers. As for the voice over that’s just the production being cheap. Number 1 should have been Ryan’s visor being raised. You also missed the most obvious costume mistake ever made. Even without the shield it’s painfully easy to tell American MMPR Green Ranger footage from Sentai footage as the two costumes are two different shades of Green. Burai’s suit is darker in color to Tommy’s.

After all this time I thought, Tommy's costume was made that way to be unique

I especially caught the Samurai theme being played instead of the Megaforce theme, in The Human Condition. I thought to myself, how the heck did they allow that to slip through.

there is one y'all missed in the episode A MegaZord sized child: when the MegaZord was hit by the Monster, over head of the console of the 3 button's of Jason colors where the Green Ranger's logo's not red & this episode was Done before the got the Green Ranger. this also happen in a nuder episode before this one as wall.

Here are mine: Tommy most of the time wrongly placed the key into his morpher & Ethan could summon the Stegozord in episode 29 despite the fact the evil white still had it (PR Dino Thunder) Ultra Megazord combined without Hyper Datas (PR Megaforce) The PRs transformed into the Japanese sentai warriors (PR Super Megaforce)

One that I couldn’t help but notice was in Time Force when they battled in areas with large chunks of debris and whenever it was hit you could see how flimsy it was. It would give just a little bit showing it was foam. I found it hilarious.

A huge glaring mistake was the Super Megaforce Legacy battle as a whole. It was JUST BAD!

The Turbo Rangers in Legendary Battle were the Robo Rangers and Justin. (TJ, Cassie, Carlos, and Ashley had Robot Clones)

Let's be honest, do you really think Saban give's a rat's ass about whether or not we notice these mistakes? Hell, I'm sure HE never even noticed!

THE GREEN RANGER SHIELD IS ICONIC!

I hated that for the beginning season 2 they used the "Thunder Megazord" footage instead of using the regular Megazord footage they originally had recorded. It was very sloppy. Also once I saw Dairanger, I was disappointed they didn't use all the new suits. When they added Rocky, Aisha, and Adam, I think that would've been the best time to switch to the new suits and Dairanger monsters, I think the battle footage would've worked better. So much wasted Dairanger footage not used. Last after thinking what they could've done for season 3, I think Billy could've become Ninjor in the "VR Trooper" style, while everyone else would've used the Kakuranger suits, and not waste the other Kakuranger footage as well. Other than that, Zeo was an awesome season, and it seemed like the step in the right direction until Power Ranger CARS, I'm not calling it "Turbo".

The switched sounds for the Unicorn and Griffin Thunder Zords in Mighty Morphin. For some reason during the fights after the sequence from Dino to thunder, the Unicorn roared and the Griffin whinnies. And this went on up until Ninja Quest when the Thunder Zords were destroyed by Rito Revolto.

Weird to look back at something I once loved so much and see how freaking goofy it is 😅

The giant child moment can be forgiven since it was framed as Trini having a dream in the american series. So that kid appearing was just a weird thing that she couldn't explain which happened in her dream ;)

One I saw was back in power rangers lost galaxy when they joined forces with the in space rangers. When fighting psycho pink, cassie was on the ground, demorphed as her morpher was having its energy absorbed. The in space rangers came to help in the astro megaship, but when the megazord sequence began you can see that they used the old sequence footage as you can kind of see in space pink in the megazord.

The Legendary Battle footage fail, what's weird too is that when the teams are assembling and the snippets of Gokaiger footage is used, all other spots where Tommy's respective rangers should be present are edited to exclude him, with it being pretty obvious the respective ranger was cut. Zeo lacks its red ranger, Dino Thunder has the black ranger removed, in both cases, you can tell the edit was made because the shots were centered around the full five and not with the extra team member removed. That all being said, "Top 10 Mistakes Left in Power Rangers", the number 1 should be the Megaforce/Super Megaforce seasons as a whole. Megaforce could be overlooked as just being a generally bad season (similarly to how Overdrive gets treated at times), but butchering Gokaiger to make Super Megaforce like they did just to try and make the timeframe for the anniversary and yet failing to do so by several months was inexcusable to both Power Rangers fans and those that have gotten into Super Sentai as a result of PR.

#1 got explained/retconned in Power Rangers Dino Fury as the Green Morphin' Master meddling with her powers (that she wasn't supposed to have used for her safety)

I think my favorite mistake from the old series asked to go to one the dragon shield will change materials between shots. Although, if we are talking about Operation Overdrive that whole season was a mistake.

I remember two similar ones. The first is in mighty morphin when Kimberly and Trini meet Maria the megazord saved her and Billy tells her to get inside the rad bug as it drives up. Well they didn't have self driving cars at the time so you can see a dark figure drive the car off. Saved from when mess then she was kidnapped by a guy who stole the rad bug as it appeared. The second one is easy to see when stormblaster and lightning cruiser debute in power rangers turbo. Sentient vehicles don't exist so what happened? Easily you can see people in full on black suits driving the vehicles, but when they are stopped no one is there. Are they drivin by phantoms? Is it like transformers where they can have holographic drivers? Nope they just didn't have self driving cars or any other options...

In the Quantum Quest, when Eric transforms to the QR for the first time, you can tell it's not him, but his japanese counterpart, Timefire

Saban Overdoing MMPR In Both The Neo-Saban Era, The Hasbro Era, And Lastly Saban Forcing Hasbro, To INTENTIONALLY, Name It Beast Morphers, Rather Than Grid Battleforce, Because That Name, Was About Spies.

There's one in Power Rangers Time Force in the episode Clash for Control Part 1, where Eric and Wes go back in prehistoric time when they look for the Quantsaurus Rex but when a real T Rex find they get chased but when they're getting chased away Wes morpher is not on his hand

At least the legendary battle made sure to only have one Tommy Ranger show up (i checked dino thunder black and Mighty morphing white didn't appear at least in the scene showing the individual teams)

The biggest mistake for me was how the pink ranger was with the group before the pterodactyl formed the shield for the Megazord. She is definitely not suppose to be with the group

As someone who saw the Shinkenger version first, I found American version very jarring. The tension of what should have been an awesome final Megazord battle (Shinkenger has one of my favorite final battles in Sentai) was already shortchanged by the Rangers narrating each time they lost a Zord (which we clearly could see). But, seeing them poorly edit the base Megazord into the Battle Wing’s place really hurt my feelings.

A lot of continuity issues were definitely things that we kind of knew already. I mean obviously about the Green Ranger shield was obviously noticed from the Japanese series to the American series, as well as the Zord battles being ridiculously edited to make it look like the zords fought monsters from the past. I mean there was also continuity error they forgot. Some zord battles involving the Megazord and the Dragonzord were HIGHLY reused several times, if you watch the Return Of A Old Friend episode, the SAME battle of the zords from The Green Candle was reused, not only that, the Dragonzord was used a lot from recycled footage when the Thunder Megazord came in season 2, WHY? Because there was a different series that used the Thunder Megazord with a different set of Rangers involved with the White Ranger in Japan however the American series just used the same Rangers. Also Jason David Frank wasn’t actually supposed to be on the show for a long time, but because fans requested letters to keep the character Tommy due to fan letters so they had to write a plot to keep him on the show so when the White Ranger was in that other Japanese series, they decided to write Tommy as the White Ranger.

In MMPR in the first episode Tommy helps the rangers as a part of their team after being freed from Rita’s spell, you can see for a mere second that Burai from super sentai is the one that appears on top of a roof then instantly turns into the green ranger and summons the dragonzord. Season 1, episode 22, “The trouble with shellshock” at about 14:16 into the episode. Super Sentai is the series in Japan from which power rangers takes their fight scenes to use in their own version, for anyone who may not know.

The turbo rangers showing up in the legendary battle is actually explainable but only if you remember as very random and obscure episode of turbo. It could be the robo turbo rangers created to protect eltar in the episode where Justin finds out that he and the other rangers are actually robots created by zod don and the main turbo rangers

I just assume the Turbo Rangers were the robots from that one episode and Justin was the only human on the team

For essentially the entire zordon era being at the legendary fight, what I was able to gather up with that we can believe that yes the second wave of turbo is there as in space and that turbo that is there are the robot ranger of eltar. Just what I found and thought was kool.

The turbo in legendary battle isnt much of a bogger. Fandom theorized that since justin is the only morphed turbo ranger maybe somehow whoever his mentor is created the robot rangers

1.There is more thing you guys didn't notice the carrier zord chest have sheld of mighty morphin dragon zord 2. Shogan mega zord have actually written something in japines normally but in carrier transferomation it have written S on the chest 🤓

1:30 Now To Explain EXACTLY what the Sloppy Zord Edits are about is really simple: the second season in Japanese Called Diaranger which in the first season the original costumes for Power Rangers were used but later on they developed different powers which changed their outfits. Saban however wanted to do it differently in the USA because in the Super Sentai version, there was another Green Ranger replacing the Black Ranger instead and they couldn’t figure out how to change it since the Green Ranger aka Tommy Oliver was so big at the time so they kept the same outfits instead of changing them. Also it explains why they put the White Ranger from the Diaranger series into it. The White Ranger was part of that team in it and because of how big Tommy Oliver was to fans, which wrote fan letters insisting they keep him on there, they brought him as the White Ranger. That’s why the season 2 Thunder Zords were not fighting the actual monsters from the past, there wasn’t as many monsters from that saga and the team wore different suits including the Black Ranger changing into a Green Ranger. Also it’s why the Lion Zord has more green into the zord instead of black. Kind of what they also mentioned with the Pink Shogun Zord Being White. Which the toys had it pink. Because they added the White Ranger as having the Falcon Zord as his zord, and not the White Shogun Zord. The Sentai version was pink, the USA version was white, but they made the toy pink. Yea it’s confusing. But that’s why the zords had sloppy edits. Also that wasn’t the only oops they made. There were also episodes that had Goldar grow but used the original stock footage twice which we could obviously tell because Goldar’s mask changes due to problems with the lower jaw having issues and the fact that when he grew he didn’t have the wings. Also with the Dragon Zord Being together with the Thunder Megazord ALSO had bad editing too. They tried to make it look like they were together fighting but they weren’t. Hence in the Return of the Green Ranger episodes which used the exact same stock footage from prior episodes. So a lot of the zord battles from season 2 heavily used lots of stock footage because of the different team they had. In the season 3 when they went to Ninja Zords they didn’t have that issue as frequently as the Thunderzords.
