Freddie Mercury really got the last laugh even in his dying days. if you're gonna include taylor swift on a list of last laughs, you gotta include the $1 lawsuit... taylor was groped back in 2013 by a radio show host of a big radio station, and after behind-the-scenes talks the guy was fired for what he did. then, he decided to take it public and sued taylor for 3 million bucks in damages on the grounds that she had ruined his career by not actually reporting anything and using word of mouth to get him removed for his job; legally speaking, this case should hold. so what did taylor do? countersued for 1 dollar, took him to court, testified about her own sexual assault with a myriad of proof from the night it happened and receipts of the messages where his team all but admitted he did it, and won handily. even better, in 2019, two years after the case happened (which was in early 2017), a judge threw out the guy's case after further evidence came out undeniably proving that he did it, and the guy basically dug his own grave by lying in front of a court and trying to test taylor swift, who is an incredibly powerful woman. 100% a better story than anyone on this list.

Speaking bout Beck though, my mom went to the movie theatre with beck when she was young, Beck and some of my moms friends went to the theatre just a year or two after he started singing, before he was popular.

There's a video of her being accosted by someone at her show for "disrespecting the Latino community" (Bianca herself is of half-Honduran/half-Cuban descent, for the record), and her response to the guy is absolute GOLD! And that's just one example of it!
