Totally agree with Frollo being #1. After he gives the line "And He shall smite the wicked & plunge them into the fiery pit!", I swear you could almost hear God saying "My words exactly," before breaking the gargoyle, sending Frollo to his fiery death. Poetic.

Agreed. And love how it ties back to the prologue. In the end, Frollo couldnt escape "the eyes of Notre Dame" (see 12:10).

Well, at least you should be thankful that there are a few Disney movies that didn't even bothered to kill off their villains such as Cinderella (both the animated and live-action versions), Lilo & Stitch, the Toy Story trilogy, Peter Pan and Return to Neverland, Pocahontas 1 & 2, Frozen, Big Hero 6 and Zootopia.

The Queen from Snow White was always without a doubt the most terrifying villain in all of Disney films to me, so I've always found her demise to be the most satisfying. The voice actress really did a fantastic job on the role, too, keeping the queen cool, calm, and actually somewhat pleasant, but still a bit menacing in the early scenes, agitated and clearly starting to lose it in the middle of the film, and after she turns into the hag and is chased by the dwarves she has, at that point, completely lost her mind and become this raging mad woman. The bolt of lightning interrupting her evil cackle as the movie's score builds up to a climax is so satisfying, and especially with her her scream as she falls to her death. At that point, we've just had enough of her and her death scene is utterly satisfying. Nicely done poetically, too, as she dies being the ugliest person ever.

Most Disney villains aren't SLAIN, they usually fall to their deaths, and even when they are killed it's thanks to the efforts of a hero. Dr. Facilier was neither. He was dragged screaming into hell by an entourage of demonic spirits who used his own song against him. That's what evil looks like, the most acute Disney has ever shown it, and that's an accomplishment.

You're forgetting about Disney's Princely Badasses of Badassdom Prince Eric and Prince Philip Phillip is the #2 because even though he broke out of prison, freed his ride, took on a horde of pig lizards and laid the holy smackdown on the biggest baddest bitch of all the lands, he couldn't have done it without the help of those three colorful fairies. Eric is #1 because he had no help, no backup, and seriously no plan. He had a dinghy, a harpoon, and a shipwreck, and he still managed to kill the sea bitch who was infused by Posiden- _Neptune's_ Trident Hellbent on drowning the world

Don't forget the fact that Syndrome killed several superheroes to test his Omnidroid and make it powerful enough to defeat Mr. Incredible. Counting Pixar, he's the second most successful mass murderer in Disney history after Shan Yu Frollo is high on my list, though I feel Jafar should have at least gotten honorable mentions, he appears in two movies, is quite sadistic, and like Maleficent and Scar, has an epic battle with the hero. And his death is spectacular. Gaston is my favorite due to his "hilarious squeal" when he falls. Many Disney villains fall to their deaths, but no one falls like Gaston!

I rather enjoy the death of Turbo/King Candy/Cybug from "Wreck-It-Ralph". He undergoes the most bizarre transformation of any Disney villain, partially through accident and partially through his own lust for acclaim and power. When he's killed by a beacon, it's a rather unsubtle but satisfying depiction of darkness being destroyed by the light as well as a villain being defeated by the inherent weakness of his own nature.

Do conquerors count as mass murderers? I once heard it said, "Kill one, you are a murderer; kill a hundred, you are a monster; kill a ten thousand and you are a conqueror." War, after all, is hardly the same as killing in peace. Things to think about, I guess. I mean, if killing in war is indeed murder, what about the defenders? Are heroes murderers if they kill villains? What defines a hero and a villain?

Maybe the deaths of the Chinese army don't count as murder since it's in war (though Shan Yu's side is fighting for the wrong reasons), but the massacre of the mountain village, including the little girl who owned the doll, certainly does count.

I found Turbo's death in Wreck it Ralph surprisingly satisfying. The fact that his bug brain forced him into the (coca cola) lava against his will, and watching him try to futilely fight it was pretty awesome. Hopper's death is by far one of the freakiest, therefore one of the best (despite such cute bringers of doom :3).

Syndrome -- Death by fashion. Sykes -- Caught a train. Doctor Facilier -- He wasn't ready. Mother Gothel -- Went for a trip. Maleficient -- No funny quip here. Also, the only Disney villain I know of that openly invokes the powers of Hell. Evil Queen -- Rocked out. Ursela -- Got the point. Scar -- He was right! The hyenas WERE the enemy. Gaston -- No one lies like Gaston, no one dies like Gaston... Commander Lyle -- Went to pieces. Ratigan -- Out of time. Hopper -- Being served at dinner. Oogie Boogie -- Was bugged. Shan Yu -- Went out with a bang. Frollo -- "And He shall smite the wicked and cast them into the firey pit." Yup, that certainly happened. Realistically Mother Gothel MIGHT have survived. She WAS a witch and there was no body left. A nice little loose end that could open up a sequel. I'm also surprised that, while in the thumbnail, Clayton didn't even get an honorable mention. What's up with that?!

The book is really dark, but answer that question. Esmeralda was the daughter of a village woman. She was stolen and replaced by Quasimodo (this is really gypsyphobic, but this is how it was written in the 19th century). Esmeralda mother then went mad and left to become a recluse. Claude Frollo, a scholar without links with the judiciary, benevolently took care of Quasimodo while Esmeralda finished to join a group of outcast built around the thieves guild. She is naive, but generous and benevolent, that is why she helps various character. On the contrary, Phoebus is a monster that groom her, then try to abuse her, before being attacked by a jealous Frollo. Esmeralda is accused of the attack. While Frollo later try to save her, Phoebus let her die for fear of his cheating discovered by his wife.

Sheez and in a deleted scene he stabbed a man onscreen and while his falcon killed a canary the man kept from Shan Yu presumbably having a change of heart and was killed for it.

Is it bad that when a villian dies I feel really bad for them and wouldn't want them to die Especially Dr Facilier and Scar even though he didn't die i feel bad that he had to leave as his face was terrified
