Film/TV actor Oscar Issac did a wonderful job voicing the animated version of Miguel O’Hara in ‘Into the Spider-Verse’ sequel.

My favorite variant of Spider-Man besides the Peter Parker one (just overall, not pertaining to the movie). The VA did a phenomenal job displaying how broken, stoic, capable, fearless, and devoid of humanity Miguel seemingly is. I can’t imagine surviving several universes only to fail each one over and over again until their inevitable collapses, simply because of my presence.

Miguel O'Hara is and always will be my favorite spiderman. I love Peter B parker too, but spiderman 2099 is my very favorite. And I absolutely love him across the spider verse.

I love Spiderman 2099. Playing as him in Shattered Dimensions and in Edge of Time was a blast. Even though I'm a Symbiote Suit main, his suit is a close second

Oscar Issac really is a good fit for Miguel O'Hara as his fierce voice and lethal mentality was there in the character, same goes for Moon Knight/Marc/Jake/Steven. 2022 and 2023 are his years of movies and TV shows. Pedro needs to voice someone in Beyond the Spider-Verse in which I'm hyped up for after watching Across last Thursday. GIVE ME 2024, MAN!

When Peter David first conceived of Miguel, he didn't just want to write "Peter Parker, but he's in the future", so I appreciate that he took it a completely different direction with Miguel. Miguel...isn't a nice person. He's like if Rich Sanchez was Spider-Man, and that's really neat. And I look forward to seeing if somehow, someway, Spider-Man 2099 becomes a household name like Miles has.

Miguel O Hara's origin story is equally as fantastic as Spidey 2099 himself: When he was young,Miguel was incredibly brilliant like a toddler-sized Albert Einstein. As he grew up,he assigned himself a project based on developing the DNA of Classic Spiderman. Unfortunately,the dude got fired due 2 his actions which involve using an innocent person a Lab rat for his spidey experiment. He was sent 2 his boss' office (Miguel's father) and the 2 had an adult son and father drink and chat about Miguel quitting. His dad secretly slipped in a contaminated frog in his son's drink,but this "frog" wasn't a regular amphibian 🐸 It contaminated Miguel's DNA,resulting him 2 quit his job or deal with it for the rest of his life. He tried 2 change back 2 normal,but it was too late (Spidey 2099 was born) This "new Spiderman" wasn't like the Classic Spiderman,aside from the superhuman strength,speed,durability,and improved healing. Miguel's powers are entirely different such as;he lacks the tiny hooks on his hands and feet that Classic Spidey has which he uses 2 climb walls. Instead,Miguel has retractable talons on his hands and feet which he uses 2 for climbing and fighting. He also has fangs like a vampire,1 bite he can inject a venom that can paralyze his victim almost instantly. Despite being a spider being, Miguel lacks the spider sense like Classic Spiderman has. He does however has enhanced senses; he can hear noises from miles away, has night vision and can make out fast moving objects with ease. In fact his senses are so acute, he wears tinted glasses due to his sensitive sense of sight 👀 Also like Classic Spidey,he can shoot webs from his hand and they he can eject them from his wrists. He doesn't even need any machine 2 shoot webs,his suit (the red and blue) is composed of unstable molecules so that his talons and claws don't shred the suit. His suit even has a web-like cape made of Light Byte which he uses 4 gliding through the air. Miguel is strong enough to hold a building piece in place with Classic Spidey's assistance and rip a tank apart Quick enough 2 dodge gunfire, survive a shotgun blast 2 the chest even endured electric shots,and he defeated Venom and Hulk 2099

So basically Miguel O'hara is badass version of Spider man.

What pissed me off, is that in the movie, he felt like he get the right to decide who deserve to be Spiderman or not. He told every Spiderman suffered a horrific loss that inspire them to greatness. The Uncle Bens, and the Captains. Ironically, he's the only one who never suffered that kind of a loss. He became Spiderman to overcome drug addiction. I'd say he's the last person who deserve to be Spiderman. He can be any other hero, just not spiderman.
