I read the Dunk and Egg Prequels. G RR Martin is such a terrific writer. I have even read his short story about werewolves, didn't understand the ending, but hardly can find any discussion about that on online threads. The short novella is called 'the skin trade'. There were hints of skin flayers (Boltons) and dire wolves even in those stories. Imagine a story about werewolves where the beasts are scared of another unknown entity, the skinners.
