The fact that Pride can be a celebration and not a protest is such an important step and means so much for our community. I think that it’s so important that it becomes a thing where non LGBT people come and celebrate with us. So yes pride has changed and we need to recognize its history, it’s now taken on a new beautiful life of celebration with everyone

Pride is about celebrating who we are and how far we've gone but it's also about remembering dark times and discussing the progress we're yet to see.
