I know a couple who got married and didn’t have kids because they wanted to wait for the new system and have kids then. Now the wife is past the age to have kids. They denied themselves the joy of children for the organization.

The congregation here is full of those couples. The area we live was considered "where the need is greater". So we had lots of childless married couples move in. They were pioneers and elders. The women kept trying to tell me I shouldn't have children. I always wanted a large family. I had 7 children. So I was labeled as someone who didn't listen. They are right I didn't listen. I wouldn't trade my family for anything. My children are in their teens and twenties now. It scares me to think I also didn't have them because I thought I should wait until paradise. 😳

@@Latricia130 God does a new Earth, clean just as in heaven. However! He gave us THIS life to enjoy, to embrace our passions, hobbies, have children, etc. We can very well worship our Heavenly Father AND enjoy this life he’s given us to do so. The witnesses seem to discount or throw away their passions, etc. As mentioned above, I personally know a couple who married several years ago, and said no children because they want to wait on the new system. The thing is, the watchtower organization has sold the witnesses a pipe-dream, a utopia where they’ll have pet pandas, lions gazelles , alligators and so on. That’s all more imaginary than realistic or biblical. I know. I was in for almost 30 years until 2021. They need to paying attention to the ongoing pedophile problem, the flawed blood doctrine, etc., and the real date Jerusalem was destroyed- 587BCE. Some couples, regular people, not witnesses, may choose to not have children, and that’s fine, if that is their choice. But to do so for a man made false religion, because that religion leads them that way so they can devote more time to recruiting more people so they can become a Jehovah’s Witness, is downright criminal.

I was born in but never developed beliefs in gods. The JWs had no clue what to do with a 12 year old atheist calling BS on everything including if their Jehovah even exists. Needless to say nobody wanted their children around me. I had no friends but still wouldn't agree to get baptized. I did feel bad for the kids who were scared of Armageddon and scared of me for my lack of belief.

I have been disfellowshiped since 1992. I researched about this and the Catholics were the first to shun. Then Jehovah's Witnesses said shunning was bad and now they are doing it!! In a recent conversation with my JW MIL she was explaining that the financial investments she and my FIL have won't matter soon because "poof" it would all be gone soon anyway. According to my husband she has talked that way for over 50 years! Oh brother! Thanks guys for your excellent content!

A few weeks ago two JW ladies stopped by my apt on the 3rd floor😮… I couldn’t believe it… I left the KH over 11 years ago and no JW has ever come to my place. I answered the door and they stated they were “sharing some wonderful news today, because of all the problems we see in the world”. I said you guys are JWs and one of the ladies(the one wearing the koolocks) said with a smile, yes we are. I said I use to be JW, I’m so happy they are allowing you to wear pants now and happy that the men can grow their beards….i said thanks for coming by, and you guys try and stay cool out there in this heat… I politely closed my door…SMDH!!

The trauma from being raised as a JW is extensive. I’ve done so much healing & deconstruction of my parent’s beliefs, but there is so much more trauma to unpack. People who leave the JW cult (& other high control religions/ cults) & then just start trying to control other peoples beliefs to validate whatever they now believe confuse me. Don’t they realise that kind of behaviour pushes people away & is one of the reasons why we left the high control group/ cult in the first place? Anyways, I’ve done my own research & I don’t consider the bible as anything more than a book of mythology, folklore & a whole lot of resentful tall tales (not to mention a great way for a group of people to gain & keep power & control). I’ll always be fascinated by it from a literary standpoint (which is part of how I deconstructed), but it definitely doesn’t have any authority over my life. I’m still a very spiritual person though.

This elder said the exact same thing to me about Noah🤦🏽‍♀️ Are they getting this from a movie they watched? The account would contradict what Jesus said in Matthew 24:39-42. "and they KNEW NOTHING about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” AND I said find me the verse in the Bible that says Noah warned people or that anyone laughed at him. God said that he was going to spare Noah, his wife, his children and their wives, and the number of animals clean and unclean and the fowls of the air and that was it. God never told him to make space for anyone else. “To assume anything else just isn’t so. You are assuming that Noah would have the time to build an ark, travel ALL around the world, gathering animals and preaching to people ALL around the world. Please go back and read the Noah account in the Bible. It’s not there. God only intended to save Noah and his family, as stated clearly in scripture.” Oops 😂 Love ya’ll! What’s crazy is they encourage you to stay away from gory movies & shows. But somehow it will be ok for Jehovah to make you clean up dead bodies, watch animals eat away at bodies, some of which may be your family members. Now that I’m PIMO trying to be out completely I see how mentally damaging this teaching is. I was just told by a brother, that I can go to school to be a doctor or nurse but why? Only God can fix those problems and you should put full faith into him, but “it’s your choice if you want to go”. You basically just told me it’s useless, if everyone had that thought we wouldn’t have modern day medicine💀. So we should just live for god and not try to make the world better? The one that he gave us, because it’s gonna get destroyed soon?💀 He also gave me a description of someone on death row, why put the rest of your life into helping find a cure to your illness when you can spend that time in the kingdom? WHAT so idk I felt like he was telling me all that is useless since only Jehovah can fix it, what yo💀💀

I enjoy your videos so much. It's not even funny. Although, I was never baptized in that religion. I was waiting for Armageddon. Just like all of the others were. Now, as a Born Again Christian. I'm waiting for the Rapture. I remembered a sister told me. The Rapture was not something literal. When it's in the Bible Black and White. We are going to be caught up in the air, to meet with Jesus and be with Him. The WT is full of it.

The Bible clearly states that before humans appeared on the earth, only Jehovah's family of witnesses existed in the universe. The first witness to leave the family was angel who became "Satan" the first apostate. Today, either one is serving Jehovah or the adversary Satan. There is no sitting on the fence.

So Noah built the Ark uh… where did he get all of the tools, the lumber? Did he cut down the trees himself? Then after he built the Ark he went and got two of every kind of animals, how? Did he really get two big ass elephants, how?… what about lions, tigers, panthers, black bears, brown bears,Giraffes, hippos, rhinos… what about the food, where did he get it and how did he store it….
