Thanks for discussing this important issues. Dr .zafar Sahib proposed a solution for water containment which may be suitable for some where but not everywhere this is not financially feasible, nor safe. The only solution is artificial aquifer recharging. Which can be started by an individual,community ,and state.This can store more water than dams,no migration ,economically , safe and there is no political interference.I wrote to the Prime minister I.K he approved this proposal and name it Recharge Pakistan. Now people are doing on their own,scince foundation is spending a lot on the research. Now city govt are making law that no colony and house can be built without provision of artificial aquifer recharging facility and this has implemented in Rawalpindi and other cities Bahria town is working on this for their towns. In almost all major cities the demonstrate models have been built and they are working successfully. I am working on this project since 2011-12 and now people are following my proposal and no my dreams are translating into reality. Recharge aquifer Recharge Pakistan.
