I appreciate that you more fully explain some of the things that other video makers don't, like paying attention to the temperature of the water, using inexpensive skewer sticks, switching to clean sticks, or how clean the water surface is. Thank you! I learn a lot from your videos.

Sarah T I love her voice! I don't do nails or get mine done and I watch her videos all the time! I just have natural nails and no desire to get acrylics. I had them once and it was not pleasant.
@iEMILAR
@iEMILAR 7 жыл бұрын
Same! I learned it was because of the way they removed them...not necessarily the chemicals themselves. Acrylic is safe if they don't rip that shit off your nail when removing it. It's supposed to be a slow process involving a lot of acetone soaking and buffing lol...but most places just want to get you out of there fast so they don't care. I have my natural nails as well, I'm afraid of acrylic, I am trying to grow them out so I can do these cute tutorials

cute! i love water marble. here's a tip: for the middle rings that arent spreading as much, it's because you have to give the previous ring enough time to spread completely. if you drop one color in while the other is still trying to spread then neither will spread out all the way. tfs!!!

I like your marbling! When I do this for myself, I don't need any coating around the nail. I get my base coat on, then my nail color first. Do not let this dry. I use a cheap, thin color or colors for my marbling. Add a couple drops wherever you want, take either a toothpick or pin then lightly drag through the colors to make your swirls. Add the top coat. Even add glitter to accent areas. Reduces the mess and time. I tried the water method, it's too time consuming and messy for me. Thank you for all your videos!

@misslucario7278
@misslucario7278 8 жыл бұрын
+Crista Ellwood I meant peel off, but my mobile felt like pull off was the right verb for talking about nails^^" I was referring to fake nails, glitter, gel and all the different kinds of manicures you could wear :)

you can use a peel off base coat. I suggest UNT Peel off base coat because it works the best. but for drugstore/ sally beauty I would suggest the sally Hanson biggest peel of bade coat or the OPI glitter off. but the glue base ones (OPI and sally) tale way longer to dry but there cheaper the the UNT one

Sometimes it's not the polish, but the temp of your water. If your water is not room temp, the same temp as your polish, it will dry the polish too quickly. Also, new, thin, creme polishes work best!

Sea Viper Amberly is right. The temp of your water makes a huge difference. But it's also a little bit of trial and error to see what polishes will work. Some just don't.

I love simply peel but it's a little expensive. I bought liquid latex body pain on amazon and i got a small jug of it for 10 dollars 8f you use an empty nail Polish bottle and fill it its much cheaper the simply peel because you can fill multiple bottles with ine jug
