I really wish the resort aspect of the game was explored more in this game. At Disney its all about keeping your guest for as long as you can and having resorts on property and managing that aspect of the game would b pretty neat.

I agree that would be really good. I'm much more into the management side than the building side, so it's be good to have to juggle all the different sides of that including guest accommodation.

My concern is what's gonna happen to all the scenery we love from the original game? if I can't make a ghost train or haunted mansion or a western themed area or a space themed area in this game I don't see how it's planet coaster but better, It would feel more like a different planet coaster but I'll hold my breath none the less. Frontier have rarely let me down.

I hope more of the in game IPs carry over to this one, I miss Tiki Chiki and the World's Fair shops in Planet Zoo and would also love to see Bernie's Bakes in here as well.... The world building through the shops is one of the best parts of the Planet franchise and it would be a shame to not see as much of that as possible

The world building is a great aspect that could use more exploring. I'd love it if there were in-world version of all the coaster manufacturers. Like unlocking hybrid woodies by investing in "Rocky Hurnar Bistromsho"

Ah No! More like they all found out about 4 weeks ago amd couldn't tell anyone because of the NDA. So they started playing PC1. Amd when I seen my feed fill with PC1 videos I knew that somthing was happening with PC2 and I was bloody rite thank goodness its not a 2025 release lol

It's not just that, they seem to be highly hinting at a hotel system. Which is something fans have been begging for since ROLLER COASTER TYCOON freakin ONE. I know, I was there, haha. Lazy River is a must. Tornado tubes, all sorts of crazy stuff.

It might be they have seen other studios announce and then been forced into releasing games to soon recently and learnt from that and only announced it when it was more or less ready to go.

Id love it if they could find a way to import PC1 parks to PC2. So you can load your old parks and use the new additions. Something else id like to see, and something you briefly touched on is: i'd like to see the ability to place a 'plain' ride where you can theme how youd like, but also standard pre-themed models of the same rides for basic simplicity. If that makes sense. Still, really looking forward to this. PlanCo has always been a special game for me, and im very excited to get my hands on it later this year! Thank you Frontier!!! 😊

Customizable flat rides means CUSTOM CAROUSELS!!! Also in Nerdchachos video he confirmed there will be drop tracks for coasters which is really exciting, hopefully the drop tracks get added to dark rides too

Game definitely looks neat and I'll probably check it out, but a bit bummed that it seems to be solely focused on the water park angle rather than building on amusement parks as a whole while adding waterpark features. Would love to use some of these new things for parks akin to the first game. But, I can also understand that might be a lot for a developer to do in one game. I'm sure it'll be amazing, just remains to be seen if it's my cup of tea!

my biggest joy is the first person mode and I'm shocked that no one seems to talk about that, to me that's the biggest feature I want in PC2, to be able to walk around in first person mode will be so awesome!

Whoo-Hooo!! I'm SO excited for this game! Thanks so much Jonti for all the info, it really does sound like Frontier have been listening to what we've all been saying and made the game so much better. I was holding my breath when you said 'pathing...' so I am VERY pleased to hear this has been addressed! I totally agree, the old game just doesn't match up to Planet Zoo on many levels and it was time for a fresh start. The customisation you describe sounds brilliant and I love the idea of adding scenery to the rides. At last it looks like we will have a worthy successor to RCT3 and just in time for those long dull winter nights! 🤩

So excited, I played the hell out of PC1. I’m worried though that because of frontiers finances they are gonna sell every pack or theme of scenery from the first game again. I just hope they say: pc1 scenery and themes needs work and comes through the free game updates alongside newly created themes and scenery (maybe licensed deals) as paid dlc

I am so hyped! It’s like they went inside my brain and did everything I’d want from a sequel. The surf theme and the tropical theme look amazing! The submarine theme is unexpected but awesome. Fingers crossed it turns out as good as it sounds!

switch track needs to be added or im not buying lol.. closing a ride to add a second train is WILD. i want to decide if a coaster is running 1 or 2 or 3 trains depends on how busy it is with switchtracks

It looks like they've reworked the path system in the game so it's less janky than how it is in Planet Coaster. I sure hope they do though as it would be a huge improvement to build more realistic parks.

I really hope they make all packs from PlanCo backward compatible.. would realy be a bummer if you have a set 5 themes.. otherwise you have the problem that creativity is set to dlc's.. it was not realy a problem in PlanCo 1 but you would think there on the same engine.. so it would not be really a problem to have a tab in the menu's planCo 1 and PlanCo 2 Items.

Only reason why the DLC argument still holds up is because not only did we ask for an expensive expansion which included Animals and Waterparks but also all our beloved rides and coasters from the first game may not come along side it. Yes PC needed an upgrade, but if Planet Coaster is now waterpark centric, I feel like the themepark aspect will take a backseat and that feels pretty bad. I would like to see more information on the amount of coasters/flat rides we are getting, as well as the QoL changes both Planet coaster and Planet Zoo had and also to see if they have improved how the game responds to a lot of items and rides in a larger park. Im assuming they will make more out of UE5? Sad to see that they also couldnt get Multiplayer to work. Parkitect has it and its amazing. Shame. Loving all the new additions tho, especially editing coaster cars and flat rides that move with it.

I really hope they fix the system on how guests decide to ride rides. Too often in the first one they only cared about 4 or 5 star prestige rides and nothing else. Making corners of the park dead zones as no one will go over there because it is full of flat rides that dont have a lot of prestige. They only go for Rollercoasters and big thrill rides. I would love for all rides to be utilized so the park looks lively throughout the whole park. Not just the Rollercoasters and big thrill rides. Have the guests all have different preferences. Some like all types of rides. Some only like thrill rides. Some only like nice flat rides. Etc.
