I think it's great practice! I encourage everyone to try to paint something just from the thumbnail, and then watch after to see the process.

Wow!!! @julialisart, you have been producing some amazing tutorials for us beginners that do not understand what to do with a journal. It is a practice pad!! But us beginners have no idea what to put in them. Do you think it would be a good idea to practice color mixing and theory?? Because that really confuses me. I don’t care if it is warm or cool, I just want the color I need that is not in my set, haha!! Again, thank you for taking the time to do these, even when you still have a young baby to care for! Thank you!

I am amazed that you can make a bog look beautiful! Your artistic skill is like magic~you start without quite knowing how to begin and then this wonderful scene emerges out of nowhere. Truly inspiring and awesome. I do have one question--Why do speckles at the end of "abstract" paintings? I am definitely unschooled and not an artist, so I really am wondering about this. Thanks!
