Breathtaking! I nearly cried when I saw your technique. I gave up painting years ago cos I didn't know how to achieve the 'wash' effect. Thank you! You have rekindled my old love for painting!

I really liked the initial technique of swirling the water colors around and I found it genius to draw the tree branches with the painting upside-down, so you could apply the pressure to the brush more naturally, from up to down and therefore doing the right branch thickness. Thanks for showing!

Watercolor mastery. Many lessons here in technique. All starting from just one overall wash that was then left to completely dry. The colors really faded from the original values. Another lesson.

I was just laughing at myself for using my dog to prop up my phone to watch the video, until I noticed you have a wee wee pad underneath your painting to catch any spills. Great idea! 🐕
