I've purchased 3 full courses with Martin teaching and he only gets better. Hours and hours listening to him and always learning something. You should check out his paid courses, worth every penny and not expensive.

Nice video. I am making a watercolor portrait for one of my class assignments. This particular video wasn't exactly the kind of help I was looking for, but I kept watching because this video was made very well. I think it will help me more with future assignments - you have my subscription.

In real water color painting, we start in reverse than what we usually do in digital painting. We start with the highlight areas, then the mid-tones and shadows last. You can do the same in digital painting, and I will dare to say that is a bit easier in digital media because you can fix your errors with Ctrl+Z. Man, how I wish we had a real life Ctrl+Z lol.

Do you also experience lag in input when painting / sketching on fresco with the entire artboard zoomed out? I do with ipad pro 11. The experience only becomes smooth when i zoom in

Because Fresco's watercolor is not realistic at all. It just looks cool when using. I'm disappointed too. Procreate has better watercolor brushes.

I'm not saying you don't have skill because I know you are an amazing designer but with this technology any amateur can do impressive things. I'll stick with my pencils and charcoal
