Wow! Great job! Watercolors are so unforgiving, I don't know if I'd even try a portrait in watercolor but you make me want to try. It's beautiful.

Lovely to watch your brilliant and sensual technique - and I did not know that it was possible to watercolour in this way - with very thin fluid colors on the palet as a way of creating a luminous transparency and then adding some very sharp and dark definitions. This was a very inspiring realist water colour portrait and I will try it and see how I can work with it

Beautiful. But the drawing in itself already was a detailed portret. The watercolor was imo more the colouring in of an existing portret. Like what they used to do with old black/white photographs.
