Oh my goodness, this was such a relaxing experience to watch how this beautiful painting came alive with such dynamic movement and vibrancy! I am inspired to try painting a photo of my daughter and also try out the metallic watercolors! They added that amazing touch at the end! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤

This is a gorgeous composition Negin and the colours are stunning. I would have liked you to share more information as you paint like paint techniques, as this was like watching someone colouring in a drawing rather than being informative to learners. However I still enjoyed the process and outcome. Thankyou xx

Thank you 😊 Inspiration comes from vintage fairy illustrations by Cicely Mary Barker. I came across her Flower fairy postcard collection recently and fell in love 🥰 Maybe I should share it in my next video. When painting portraits I always use reference pictures and reference for this one is made using Midjourny Ai. What are you talking about saying hot press 100% cotton paper is unable to handle too much water?” That is absolutely false information. Hot press watercolour paper is merely smooth, and it is MADE to handle lots of water. Where do you get your information from, as it’s not true whatsoever

Well if what I said came across as ‘not handling water’ then perhaps I used wrong words (or didn’t express myself clearly). However hot pressed absorbs water differently than cold pressed (which I have mostly used in my other videos). And if you use too much water it will float, creating puddles and unwanted marks on the paper= not achieving the result in the style of this painting. Surely 100% cotton paper is made to handle lots of water and I have said this many times in my other videos. But for this type of painting and to achieve this style you shouldn’t use too much water on the Hot pressed paper. I suggest you try it out yourself to see the difference and get my point. And my knowledge comes from years of experience and all the good teachers I’ve had.
