you can also wet sand with 320 or 400 grit when applying the oil rubbed finish

stunning indeed! I'm about to make the waterfall benches too. I will use sliding dovetail to connect the sides to the top, as I don't have the domino jointer, and I also want to make the top to sit on the sides. I hope it works out well.

What percentage of mix was your first application???…You did an excellent job on the miters!!!…Beautiful work…

At this point, I can’t remember precisely what that original mix was and the proportions aren’t that critical. If I was doing it now, I would make a mix 1/3 oil and 2/3 mineral spirits. So that’s probably what I did then. Thank you for your interest and keep on creating.

No, believe it or not I am in LA at that time. Just north of the city. Lots of birds discussing bird things.
