WATERING CANS: Pinterest inspired DIY

In this video, it’s all about watering cans! I went on Pinterest and found a couple of pictures that inspired me and decided to see if I could duplicate them. This was fun! It was very budget friendly too. I already had everything I used.
I hope this inspires you to look at some things you may already have and just make them over.

I love the rust technique, I collect old vintage watering cans and you did a great job. Your watering cans look like they have been loved and used for a long time.

That’s right it’s just paint and you get to be creative and sometimes learn something. I never thought of using cinnamon and glue to make the look of rust. The watering cans turned out looking great

Loved them. Talking color what color is your wall paint where you’re sitting at in the beginning and end.

Thank you! I have no idea what this color is called. The closest I can get to it is Truffled oil by Sherwin Williams but I had it mixed in the Valspar paint at Lowe’s.

Hi Donna!! Love these...a question that I hope isn't too crazy...Can you smell the cinnamon once your project is finished? I love the scent of cinnamon and think that would be a bonus!

Thank you!! No such thing as a “too crazy” question.😉. That’s actually a very good one and the answer is no. It smells amazing while you’re doing the technique but once it dries there is no smell. That would be a plus for sure if it did.
