My rainwater collection system is adequate for the cabin is wash water needs, barely. But now I am planting trees, and I will need lots of water. There is a river at the back of the property but it's a long tractor ride and there is no easy way to get the water up the steep bank. But we have a ditch, centrally located, and it never runs dry. In this two-part video we set up a system to grab the water and then a way to move it around. I hope someone can benefit from watching this.
