Thank you for posting this review. I'm very tempted to get this, especially as the set can be purchased for £60 - £70 online and the Sarissa model costs £75 on its own! The Sarissa Precision La Haye Saint looks very detailed and Italieri figures are well moulded. I'm just a bit put off by the 20mm scale of the farm and the approximate 24mm scale of Italieri minis. Those infantry figures would have to stoop a bit to get through the small doorways. Still tempted though 😉

thank you for your comment, personally I believe that Italeri products are of good quality and I hope that in my next video, dedicated to the reconstruction of the battle of waterloo, to be able to enhance and represent the materials used in the best possible way

Yes I agree. But do not discount the Airfix line of Napoleonics or those produced by Revell. Bringing them all together is really an incredible mix of Napoleonic figures.

cyществует ли набор Ватерлоо в большем-крупном масштабе? А этакую мелюзгу надо брать пинцетом и разглядывать через лупу.

I only found this set in this scale, no a magnifying glass is not essential but I use a magnifying glass to better define the details. Much depends on the view

Nice set, however no Brits were used in defense at La Haye Saint at all. There were only German soldiers of the 2nd light Battalion KGL, parts of the 1st and Nassauer there.

thanks for the contribution, however I understand that the defense consisted of about 400 between the British and Germans, and that they were forced to retreat due to lack of ammunition.

@@unclefourbob7192 There were no British soldiers defending La Haye Saint ;-) The only thing that would still fit is that the "Kings German Legion" wore British uniforms. Line infantry in red coats, the 2nd Light Battalion in identical uniforms to the 95th Rifles. The Nassauers, on the other hand, wore their own dark green uniforms. The problem was that the 2nd Light Battalion KGL was armed with Baker rifles and this type of ammunition could not be supplied even after three requests. Of the 400 men in this unit, only 42 survived...
