Find out if the Waterpik whitening water flosser is any good. A detailed hands on and opinion video, that comes after several weeks of testing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An excellent water flosser this is, but the whitening feature is expensive and a little unnecessary.
Save yourself a few dollars and go for the Aquarius.
Best 7 minutes I’ve spent watching a video. Using teeth whitening gels, strips etc and quite clearly it’s my internal tooth that is the problem. Thanks for helping me save money wasting it on stain removal when my teeth are in fact squeaky clean
What a magnificent job you do of reviewing these units. You have helped me choose a toothbrush I have adored for the past 2 years (Oral-B 9000) and now I will be buying this one! By the way, every time I use my toothbrush, I think of you explaining everything meticulously with your lovely accent in technical terms! Now THAT is what I call being a celebrity!
Hi, I see that you review each comment so writing a little more detail, first of all I was surprised to see that I was expecting a lot more subscribers based on value you bring for these dental products. I’m sure that with your continued authentic to the point useful reviews, more loyal subscribers like me will support you. I used to follow another you tuber for dental hygiene products but lately felt that her reviews were paid and not authentic, but so far your reviews seems genuine and subscribed.
Can you explain the difference between the rotating handle and the rotating nozzles? I don't understand in what way they would be different or what would be best. Thank you!
@ElectricTeeth
@ElectricTeeth 3 жыл бұрын
I will try. It makes more sense if you actually physically see it, but hopefully this helps. Rotating nozzles: At the top of the handle of the flosser is the part into which the nozzle fits. It is often called the base. This base that holds the tip on the handle rotates so you can more easily position the tip to reach all areas of the mouth. You typically use your thumb as needed to rotate the base of the tip as you water floss. Essentially the top of the handle can be turned a full 360 degrees. Rotating handle/hose: Instead of a rotating tip/base at the top of the handle, the water hose swivels where it attaches to the base of the flosser handle. Therefore you twist/move the whole handle without the hose becoming tight/restricted like it would if you twisted/rotated the whole handle on those models that have a rotating nozzle handle.
Any suggestions for teeth whitening (NOT stain removal)? My teeth are dull, due to age.
@ElectricTeeth
@ElectricTeeth 3 жыл бұрын
The best method is chemical tooth whitening via your dentist. It will provide the best results and will be safe. We have a number of videos that explain this: kzfaq.info/sun/PLAeTjwo5Ms7b7UAeE3ShPeDf64Hp0MTqF
Electric Teeth can we put anything other than tablets in the Waterpik. Like Hydrogen Peroxide or Carbamide Peroxide gel.
@ElectricTeeth
@ElectricTeeth 2 жыл бұрын
Not as far as I am aware and this would not be effective because hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide need sustained contact with the teeth to be effective.
Also is it possible to share the same water flosser with 2 people ? Or is better to buy 2 water flossers. Thank you.
It is possible to share, you should just each use your own nozzle/jet tip.
hi, would you recommend this model over the waterpik ion?
@ElectricTeeth
Probably not. No. But it depends what you want/need. If you don't need a unit with a built in rechargeable battery look at the Waterpik Aquarius/Ultra Professional. Its like this model, without the 'whitening'.
Hello there. Which waterpik flosser has the strongest water pressure? As my teeth are very tight to each other. And I’m not sure confident that any water flosser in the world is strong enough to between my teeth. Thank you 👍
@ElectricTeeth
@ElectricTeeth 5 ай бұрын
There isn't 1 model from Waterpik that is really stronger than another. Their countertop units all range from 10 to 100 PSI. You set the dial to 10 on the flosser to use the maximum power. This is pretty powerful and should be enough to clean between your teeth. Have you considered using other tools like standard floss or interdental brushes?
@rizvalente309
@rizvalente309 5 ай бұрын
Thank you for your reply. I was told by the team that the cordless water flossers are 70psi and the non coordless ones are 100psi. Does this mean the non coordless have a stronger water pressure? Thank you.
@ElectricTeeth
@ElectricTeeth 5 ай бұрын
This is correct and yes it does. There are a couple of models, from other brands that are more powerful but power isn't necessarily the answer for effective cleaning.
I have never used a water flosser and I would like to ask : Can a water flosser replace traditional flossing? Or a water flosser is meant to be used together with flossing?
@ElectricTeeth
@ElectricTeeth 5 жыл бұрын
Good question and it depends on who you ask. Many dental professionals will argue that using interdental brushes is the best thing to use. If the space is too small for an interdental brush, then floss is the next option. A water flosser can be used instead of and is often more convenient for those who can't get in the habit of flossing, but there are clinical arguments as to what is best. Using both floss and a water flosser is going to give you the best oral health. Using any product, is better than nothing.
You could take a look at the Sonicare Power Flosser. They are a little quieter. By the nature of the pump required to make these function, they are going to produce some noise. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qqiles6Cs6_VmIE.html
