I heard this song for the first time while watching this movie. I've fallen in love with it... :)

I miss master Tom Jobim and pepper Elis Regina. I really enjoyed this composition when I was younger! Long live Brazilian music.

i wish i can rewatch this movie with the same feeling i felt for the first time. this movie makes me feel something.

Love the original version sung by Elis Regina and Tom Jobim (our kings), but I gotta be honest: I might not like how some of the lyrics don't translate as nicely to english, but maaan, I love how melancholic this version sounds.

The movie was so..invasive it summed up everything, i was have existential crises when i saw it and idk it just made my existential crises..acceptable? It was a hug that it wasn’t supposed to make you feel better..but it made you feel at peace with all of that. It gave a strong message that life wasn’t supposed to be beautiful, it will never be, life is just life.

What an ending....

Art Garfunkel's interval skips are flowing and accurate in pitch. Yet somehow, I don't feel the sense of the lyrics, the "meaning beyond the words." This song is challenging, because all of the lyrics are phrases, seemingly disjointed. So, it is important to look behind and in between the words at those things that are implied and unspoken (as a person would do who speaks Japanese and wants to know the true heart of the speaker). Mr. Garfunkel's voice is excellent. I wish him well wish his future endeavors.
