This is like watching children fight over who is right and who is wrong. Why does every single story concerning this council have to end up be being an embarrassment to the community? This makes the city of Watertown leadership look like fools that can't even conduct a simple meeting without it ending in strife. The whole bunch need to be thrown out and replaced by people who can communicate like adults.

I worked in watertown for years and I count my lucky stars I don't live anywhere near that city with this mayor and council. This is like a bus crash, I can't help but watch a bunch of incompentent 2 year Olds time and time again. It's now wonder your city is a cesspool. Grow up. But again. Your not my elected officials and I THANK GOD for that.

But don't make it like it was a problem "traveling" to Watertown from Rochester. I am sure your firm is being paid well for the travel.

what in the heck is going on in Watertown? so much time , energy, expense being spent on infighting. Watertown has withered many storms, it use to be a beautiful place to live , there were jobs , innovation, low crime. hope the corrupted folks are exposed and the people who genuinely care can get to the work.

I am curious as to how many city residents are sick of hearing Smith talk over Mr. Olney every time he speaks. Our so-called Mayor has felt threatened by Mr. Olney since day one because he has the balls to stand up to him. I think it's time to oust Mr. Smith, Sarah Compo Peirce and quit paying out money to a law firm that is obviously in Smith's back pocket. As a Mayor, he should be ashamed at how bad this city has become under his leadership. Homeless people walking the streets high as hell and stealing off from people's properties, fighting over parking spaces, complaining about the sale of a golf course which is said and done. Watertown in my opinion has become a city that has gone downhill since Smith took office. I have lived in this town for 65 years and have been more disgusted with the way it is going. One could only hope that people who aren't part of Smith's little click vote him out and take Sarah Compo Peirce with him. She will agree with everything Smith says because she has high hopes to become the next Mayor. The 2 of them do nothing but disagree with Mr. Olney and the rest of the council members when it isn't what the Mayor wants to hear. Get real people and make your vote count and get this city back on track and elect a Mayor who isn't self serving like the current one and don't vote for Sarah Compo Peirce into that position because we need someone who is truthful and isn't qualified for the job. Like me or not I have seen and heard enough from these 2 and so has everyone else so make a change for the better and cast your vote for Lisa because I think she is honest enough and obviously has a better understanding as to what this city needs.
