On June 8, Universal held a special showing of WaterWorld exclusively for Annual Passholders and their invited guests. The event was an effort to showcase the changes that have come to the show following the recent changes in management, show plot, stunts and special effects.

'96, '97, '98, '03, '05, '08, '13 and just a few weeks ago in 2023 - from being a kid and now having my own kid - all these time this show is still what excites me whenever we go to Universal City Studios in Hollywood.

I saaw gregg at waterworld and than I saw him at the speacil effects show and asked him if he was in the waterworld. He then took out us (my family) out of the line and made us in charge of the sound effects
