In this video, the Buddha tells the story of how he explains the prophetic dreams of King Pasenadi.
Note: These prophecies are taken from Acariya Thoon Khippapañño's book, "The Buddha's 16 Prophecies." As a fully enlightened (arahant) monk and avid scholar of ancient religious texts, Acariya Thoon's telling of the Buddha's prophecies paints a broader and deeper picture of the future to come.

Those who are wise would understand and realise these prophecies and never fall into trap of wrong deeds till they get liberated. Namo Buddhay🙏 Jataka tales helps us to understand many things with past real life examples . The need is to believe on this path and behave accordingly with skillful deeds restraining from unskillful.

good insights into future events, and history doesn't repeat but it rhymes as they say (buddhist idea of cyclical nature). Only problem is that this is more relevant to eastern asian nations where Buddhism has had great influence, there are pearls of wisdom for all but some don't apply to the western world. Some are accurate but we have to make substitutions / find equivalent institutions / spiritual faiths.
