A small vlog of our holiday in the Yorkshire Dales - we ended up at Aysgarth Lodges after being very disappointed with Forest Holidays (full details in my Patreon Vlog) - I TOTALLY recommend Aysgarth Lodges/Leisure Resorts, can't say enough good things - properly dog friendly, dog friendly restaurant on site with fantastic food, really good - we'll be going back!

I really like these vlogs. I had to smile, when you said he had a 'wiggle ' in his walk - I wasn't sure if you meant Watson or your husband haha. You all had an amazing time. Hope you did go in hot tub - i know cold but if you had the fire going - i' m assuming that was lake Windermere where you went too? 🤗

Hehe thanks Elaine, yes it was Watson's wiggle I was referring to 🤣 No, not Lake Windermere, we were in Leyburn..... didn't go in the hot tub - not really our thing to be honest and I'd forgotten my swimsuit! x

I'm always looking for great dog friendly places in the UK to holiday. The lake District is always a favourite. But I've never explored Yorkshire or even Wales. I heard Whitby was dog friendly?? We love that in the lake District you can take your dog into every shop and nearly every cafe and restaurant which is just great. Have you found anywhere else in the UK that is that dog friendly? Ps, have u ever considered getting a second dog? Thanku

The only places we've been on holiday with Watson are the ones documented on here tbh - I actually find it difficult to find somewhere dog friendly! Yes, we've seriously considered another dog, even applied for a rescue one, but its just not right for us at the moment for many reasons - with Watson fighting cancer I'm glad I can focus just on him, and financially it would be difficult. x

I’m amazed at how Watson’s color has changed over the years. I will be getting a standard (large 80 to 90 lbs)Labradoodle in a few months to train as my new service dog as long as everything goes as planned with the pregnancy etc. My current GSD is 12.5 years old and needs to retire soon. I’ve been binge watching your videos on how to groom. I’ve always owned dogs but never a breed that needed clipped. I’m used to brushing out a lot of blown undercoat and decided because I want to travel that dealing with the shedding is just to much at my age. So now I’m just realizing what I’m getting into with the grooming of a Labradoodle 👀. Watching how you spread the grooming out over a few days does help make it more feasible for me. I have a question about the robe you use on Watson. Is it just for use after a bath? Or what is the reason for it. Watson is soooo adorable. I’ll be naming my Labradoodle Hamish.

How exciting, labradoodles make great service dogs - Watson can take my socks off, rings a bell, puts his toys away lol. The robe is to take some of the water out of his coat either after a bath, or when he comes in from the rain - the coats hold so much water that its impossible to get with just a towel.
