You have an entire mountain beneath you. The Cellar to your house should be MASSIVE, and UNDERGROUND. Put all of your Storage into a Secret Bunker beneath your House AND have it also be the Elevator that leads up and down to the Canyon Floor Below. :)

How about putting in a basement and what's more, have the basement extend to the cliff edge and have windows looking into the ravine?

I always love adding checkered floors in my kitchen builds. I always go for a more expensive route and have Polished Blackstone and Quartz

Hey wattles, as a neat storage room idea, u can make a large basement under your house and turn it into a storage room(s) and maybe a nether wart farm/potion room

If you do make a cellar, you could fill it with some microfarms like a dripstone farm, a mud converter or a cobblestone/basalt generator. It's something I do a lot in my starter houses.

Did you know you can put lanterns in the top of decorated pots? It's a good way to light up your interior if you have some of them in your build.

I personally recommend adding the windows as you decorate the interior of a smaller build. Unless they are absolutely necessary for the looks of the exterior

The fact that you hate Diorite?!!!.....ummm. well my kitchens have the "stoves" in a corner so I can build a chimney up. My fridge is made of barrels and spruce doors. Fridges are supposed to open, and have food in them. As for counters...yes, counters, polished diorite or granite slabs. Kitchens are bright rooms. No chests in kitchens, just barrels! Fun trick with the concrete powder and water bucket. Bedroom...I make a "closet" for the bed. Or make flags that hang down above the head of the bed like curtains. Love putting armor stands in the closet! Great idea.

It always amazes me how amazing you are at building. You take such plain Jane layouts and combine them with disparate blocks to really tie everything together and actually make things look so nice. I would have never thought to use yellow glazed terracotta as a wallpaper and that it would *actually* work with dark oak wood nor that it would work with the rest of the house being that it had so many other different colors to it already. The staircase transition I was skeptical of before you finished off the rest of the interior as well. Wow, just wow! I do want to say, though, you may want to go back and redo the back of the house near the kitchen soon. It'll look weird coming into Mendles house now that it goes from being cherry wood to now being bamboo. You'll actually see the back of the build a bit more, meaning how it looks will be super weird. Anyways, good episode! Enjoyed it thoroughly!
