I never leave comments on videos, but this one was insanely helpful in showing how to use Lumetri Colour without adding any unnecessary filler that it takes too long to get to the point, or assuming too much pre-learned knowledge - so I just had to say thank you. I use Premiere all the time for editing but rarely touch it for colouring due to the belief it was too limited, but after this video I can see all the potential and time saving opportunities when close enough is good enough for grading. Keep it up you legend!

Is there any reason you don’t use adjustment layers to do the various steps? i.e log to Rec 709 conversion, color correction and creative grade.

Personally I feel it just makes the timeline messy. I know there are benefits to using adjustment layers but I'd rather stack lumetri colour effects on the clip instead of use adjustment layers

If you over expose like you should then you need to pull whites and highlights down to reveal detail

cant get your video luts to work, they are xmp files and cant be uploaded into premier pro, also the installation guide cannot be opened. any advice pls?
