AK will still be worse. The wave dash is what made AK stand out. He’ll need some more weapons now Makes me wonder if JDCR will try King now 🤔

@jimdino77 How? King’s wave pressure is fake. He doesn’t actually enter the crouching status while wavedashing so he can’t crush highs and you can just jab check him.

It’s because he had matches against opponents who were +- 2 ranks. He was on loss streak against players +- 1 rank and was still in threat of loss penalty. The used to show the orbs in t7. They need to bring them back/

@@user-tj5ln9sm6q right? I think that comes naturally when we playing. I can break like 4/10 to 7/10 if it is a 1 or 2 to break. The real problem is when is 1+2 or specific 2 to break. I mean all we can do is guessing, its impossible to human eye see which arm is grabbing first, its not frames enough to react. I feel like i have supereyes and supereflex when i break 1 grabs on react🤣

Gotta say TMM’s high defence just obliterates counter hit baiters. He’s not 99 defence but I love how balanced he is when using different characters.

I think why everyone hates King is because when he kills you with one of his long animation grabs all you can do it just sit there knowing that you lost and have to watch the whole animation play out

Except with King, it's your own fault for not breaking ANY of the throw segment. Meanwhile any character can juggle you for just as long if you get launched - and you can't do jack once you're in the air.

King's heat engagers and chip DMG kinda suck so it's pretty balanced but I think the mix up afterward isn't needed.

It balances itself out to a extent. Like someone said, King's chip isn't good, the heat engagers outside of probably F1,2 isn't all that great. So it's evened out. And it did get a nerf from 64 to 60 or something funny like that

Its the only good option in heat against good players, Kings heat kinda sucks otherwise. There are also other heat smashes that deal similar amounts of dmg

Raven is my favorite character in Tekken 8. I am happy that UNLEASHED 25 was able beat MainMan with style. Lee and King are also in my top 5 favorites. Those last two matches were awesome.

This wavedash is almost useless on King, because King dont have fast moves like electric, dark upper, hell sweep... the high crush property is rly bad and wavu into chain throw is seeable af.

Don't know what timing you refer to in the video but it's most likely the way loss streaks are handled. You get bonus points awarded/deducted when playing people ±1 rank from you, but the streak doesn't go away if you fight someone in a rank further away. It is stored, basically

I will never understand how when i fight people everyone ducks my rko attempts everytime and everyone breaks my Kings bridge and RDC and I come on here and see everyone not breaking or ducking. What am i doing wrong lol

You're probably not downloading and paying attention to the opponent's habits enough. I feel like everybody ducks my rko too, but anytime i do land it is on a read and i feel confident i figured out the opponent tendencies

I do it most of the times, and then after seeing him block it 3 or 4 times i go "ok RKO time" then they immedietely duck it and punish me. I pay attention but i feel like they just chose the right option either on accident or because i misjudged

Judging by the video, you can win with this mutant with your eyes closed. Everywhere and always it will get you and protection will not save you. A character for average minds. I think that it is still rather weak and in the new patch it would be nice to strengthen it further.😵💫

13:26 you don't use a power crush because it's a crutch? TMM haven't you said that there's no honour in not using all of your tools to win? If it's in the game, you can use it and nobody judges you. You don't get extra points for not using a mechanic just because of honour or you think it's unfair or anything like that. I'm pretty sure you've said this before, and I agree with that take. So why not just power crush your way out of it? Your opponent would and you're handicapping yourself for nothing!

No one rematches King because no one likes to fight King. 13f launcher, 10f grabs, tailspin grabs, grounded grabs, jaguar sprint, jaguar step, and even wavedashing. Fuck King, all my homies 1 and done every King.
