Your hair is frizzing up because its not properly moisturized..before you rag up at night make sure theres alot of moisture in your hair because if you use a little..your pillow+the durag is gonna obsorb the moisture..when you wake and unrag make sure you put it some more moisturizer or whatever you use then use a plastic bag to lay it down..whenever your hair is frizzing up always think of it as soil..moisture makes it soft and holds it together..dryness makes it hard and loose..also you need to wear a durag as much as possible to train your hair strands to bend and lay..people get tired of wearing a durag all the time but as your hair grows that new part of hair that grew isnt trained to lay down as yet like the top of the hair strand so you always gotta wear a durag so your new growth can be trained to lay down especially if your hair grows fast or if you’re using hair growth products..you’re welcome

Too much moisture equals overcurl. It's a finesse thing. More product equals more build-up. You are also not accounting for how all our hair holds moisture differently. After a wash and Style and proper sealing I don't need to add product for up to 3 days depending on how much I sweat and hair length. It's abt knowing YOUR hair and porosity and working from there. These are general instructions he is giving, you went specific

Both do the Loc method L.(water/ or leave in conditioner) O.oil. C.(Custard or butters like Shea butter, or double butter cream) and make sure you get a good brush session in too

Rinse with either a Silky Durag. or Mesh Durag. Both do a good job at allow the shampoo to rinse out. However, for a more quicker rinse try using a Mesh Durag.
