The ratio looks strange because the protagonist of the MV is wearing a mask. From the mask, that's the perspective. It's easy to appreciate Yorushika's song but there's still a long way to understand their art, the lyrics and the stories behind those songs.

If you look at the first second it shows the pov of putting on a mask. Also notice how when he hits the mirror the reflection doesn't follow him

stand on your tiptoes ＝ 爪先 立つ(tsumasaki datsu) → 妻 先立つ(tsuma sakidatsu) ＝ wife dies first It's one of the Japanese wordplay what Yorushika specializes in.
