Thank you for posting this! I just got the Instyler Wet to Dry, and I didn't like the curls that the instructions in the product produced. This is so much prettier! I'm going to try it on my hair.

Yes, you can get really smooth blowout type curls with the instyler. They are a little bit looser than the curling iron curls.

No it only rotates in one direction

I would like to know if it matters which way the barrel is rotating.

Chris Hall I always felt like it should. I would think the hair is smoother if the barrel rotates the same direction as the cuticle. Unfortunately the instyler only rotates in one direction, so when doing flips it rotates opposite the direction of the cuticle. However the results are comparable either way.

I saw this new instyler at harmon face values and it was the 2 way spinning barrel instyler didnt get to see what it was called and hopefully they r in other stores

+rhianne newlahnd oh no! thats terrible. It is a burn risk as the barrel is exposed. Using the training guard (which I use in the straightening with the instyler demo will protect you from burns.
