Great Plug-in for Hip Hop Vocals. I also have Waves Tune, but real time waves tune has a way clearer sound in less amount of work. Its a great step forward for a fair price.

Call me crazy, but I like the simplicity of the plugins that come with Logic Pro X. Its pitch correction tool works on the fly like this one, and Flex Pitch allows you to manually tune individual notes, complete with vibrato, formant shift, etc. No robotic sound whatsoever. It's quite natural! Best part is, it's all free!

Waves Tune Real-Time is really really good.. I don't get why Autotune has such strong position in this segment. Antares has SOOO many glitches with their license management, every month something breaks and you need to waste an hour managing your licenses with Autotune -it's really awful. With Waves, it works smooth. It sounds really good. It's easy to use. Some people hate Waves .. haha.. .but I have to say it's quality software without bloat. Thank you for this great tool!

Bought this. Kind of felt the vocal really did not need much work. It is much harder to use when your vocal is more out of tune. I've noticed that it sounds pretty processed in those kind of situations.

i like your tutorial .. can you help me out how to fix mic latency .. i tried with asio4all nothing good hapend even worse. so i god some soundcard in pc and scarlet 2i2 but i cant record cuz theres a lot od latency

Question about the routing he is doing: So I set the Output of the Clean Channel to lets say bus 1. On bus 1 I put WavesTune Realtime and Output it to (lets say) bus 2? And then Record Bus 2 and the clean Channel simultaneously, am I getting this right?

To be honest, I mean I've got clients that go off pitch but nothing as bad as this guy :/ :O the fact that this can somewhat sound half natural is a miracle. This dude hit literally nothing in terms of the notes. Honestly, the smartest way to use wave plugins to pitch correct is to pitch correct the notes you really need to with the graph of the original waves tune, but really focus on fine tuning It, if you know how you can really do amazing things with the graph of waves tune, and then run it straight into this plugin after that to clean up and bring the polish of that autotuned sound without getting any distortion in the pitch. Same thing as going melodyne into autotune basically, a very common thing that they do at the higher levels of the industry.

Can this be used for something other than vocals...let's say a synth or pitch-bended or sound-mangled effect that may be slightly out of tune? Or can it only handle less complex sounds, etc?

Can anyone out there answer my question? Do studios have pitch correction devices to fix / flat or sharp notes played live in studio or love on stage performances or during final mix down ?

i have os x, logic pro x. i can not control where to start, stop, pause via wave tunes screen, i can get back or forward via logic pro x´s screen, it is annoying. how can you start, stop, play from wave tune´s screen? moreover, on logic pro x, if i press space, it goes to a point very silly instead of functioning pause ability

Why does it show one set of parameter settings in the small window when the guy is singing and then a different set of parameter settings on the Dave's computer in the control room?? Very confusing and calls into question whether any of it is legitimate.

At 13.21, why do you through an Aux track? Why not just go directly from your first Mic track to your second audio track with Tune Real-time on? Can you control the level from the Sends in Pro-Tools? I use Logic.

Wouldn't mind trying it on my guitar cause as we know guitar notes arent truly in tune across the fretboard... might sound like piano though...

Hi Dave, I'm using Waves Tune Real Time in abelton live. I've automated the scale root but it keeps randomly disabling automation. I've tried correcting this but it keeps turning off during my live set. Any tips for me?

Hi, i seem to have an issue with popping, when changing notes it seems to cause an audible click/pop where it sounds like it snaps to the next note. Only happens in certain places in the song. Any ideas anyone?

In a live situation with both a Monitor desk and a FOH desk how would you suggest using it? It's a given FOH would love it but what about the performer? Do you think they would want to hear the tuned vocal? I imagine they wouldn't want to hear it. Any examples of why they would want to hear it and how you would use this plugin at both FOH and monitors at the same time? Thanks! Looking for real world setup examples

For studio use is this a significant improvement over Waves Tune? It seemed to track and correct the vocal with less robotic qualities than my experience of Waves Tune despite similar settings in Speed and Note Transition etc.

Hey can anyone help me. When recording live, from my understanding, I should be hearing the waves tune real time changing the pitch and applying the autotune. However, when I speak into the mic, it doesn't seem to be registering my audio at all, it doesn't show any notes. However, after i've recorded and play it back, it seems to pick it up then. Am i doing something wrong? I am using Logic Pro X

im struggling a bit trying to get this to work with cakewalk to correct as it records. i have input echo enabled so i can hear the correct vocals and if i record a track to the DAW i can 'hear' the corrections. when i play back the file i would expect that the plug in now no longer needs to be turned on as it 'should' have corrected as i recorded, but all i have is out of tune vocals on playback with the plug in turned off, turned on then the plug in is working on the recorded vocals and only correcting on playback. not sure what i'm doing wrong but ideally would be good to record the corrected vox, so i dont need this plug in running on playback/mixdown ... any cakewalk/bandlab users have any tips for me on this ... Cheers
