I just sang along before but now i get what he's saying because it feels like that when you're in one of those moods, you just want someone to understand, and misery is the only one who will lmao. He's personifying it obviously but it's like you're own feeling of those feelings, is the only true understanding, and could never come from another person even if they were sympathetic or related to the situation. and the 'i'm just having fun with you' part, if he's still talking to misery, is like you understand it's not real and it's not forever and it's just another emotion, an emotion that is actually necessary to understand true happiness/ contentment lol

Sometimes it sounds likes he is alternating between singing "but I'm just having fun" and "but I'm dissatisfied" and I like the idea of that, like the trip is going bad or something or not what he expected after all the hype of trying acid, mostly just doing it to hang with his friends.
