I just cut my hair this length and all my curls just POPPED, so I straighten the tips, so it doesn’t go up too much and I love it! I used to have hair down to my butt, so this is a really nice change!

I should try that 🤔 I have short hair now too and now I straighten it way too much because my 2a/2b hair tends to look wonky at the ends especially the back of my hair wanting to flip everywhere because it’s shorter. Thinking about popping up those waves again and try to work with it rather than against it.

Vanessa, thank you! My wavey hair is cut like yours, and every since I broke my shoulder and only had one hand to fix my hair, I got a layered Bob cut and scrunch some soft curl cream in and let it air dry! Heat hasn't touched my hair in 3 years and it is the best condition ever. Plus, how easy can it be. So, great video!

I cut my hair because of you haha and I love it ! Been straightning them since the cut though, but since I have the same hair texture as you I might start letting the bob wavy. Been inspired by Brittany Xavier and Dua Lipa too, don't know why but I find the brunette bob sooo so pretty. Anyways, you're gorgeous ! xxx

I absolutely love your hair! I have a question, when you part your hair on the side on a daily basis, how do you stop the hair from thinning near the edge? Im only 20 but i can already see the hair thinning quite a lot?

I switch the part on occasion or throughout the day. I have the main way I like it for photos but in real life it’s more fluid cuz I flip my hair often

Yup! I have the Aquis hair turban and the Deva towel and honestly, I like the Deva towel best because it doesn’t give me weird bumps.

@@VanessaEvelyn yeah, towel fibers tear at the cuticle and natural wave of your hair, creating broken and frizzy hairs. Aside from a tshirt, i would also recommend a microfibre-hair towel. They sell them on amazon and are great. The microfibre doesnt break or frizz your hair.

I totally agree! I use Milbon wave defining cream after I towel dry, and just let my blunt, chin leghth bob dry naturally. It looks better if I sit outside & let the wind blow it. I'm 42 & it's starting to go grey. I'm not excited about it, but I can't afford to color it, so I'm just going to accept it. My mom never colored it, & compared to other women her age her hair is full, healthy & shiny! I don't wear makeup. Haven't since I was 20. I'm with you on the diet as well! No shade from me, sister! I'm with you! Thanks for the video & Try Milbon cream for your gorgeous bob!

To be honest - bobs aren’t for everyone. It looks great on you, but it didn’t look good on me. I have wavy hair, but a blunt bob looked awful on my hair type (even though I tried every single hair product). When I had a bob my hair was even more frizzy and the waves were always unruly... And I didn’t look cute at all- I looked like a dowdy soccer mom. :/

Aleksandra Grąbkowska omg babe I’m sorry you didn’t have a great experience. When I had long hair and first wore it natural it didn’t look good and was also very frizzy. It took a couple years of not using heating products until it started looking good air dried. What’s your daily routine like? Also my haircut isn’t completely blunt because I get the ends textured and piece-y layers in the back but the overall cut is considered a classic bob cut.

@@VanessaEvelyn Thank you so much for the answer. :) When it comes to my daily hair routine I don't use any hair product, because it makes my hair look too oily. I've already tried every single hair product and nothing worked for my frizzy and at the same time- oily hair. :( When it comes to bobs- I also tried a classic bob with soft layers, but it also didn't work for my hair type. :( I think than maybe my age is also an important factor. I'm much older than you and it is normal than women in their 30s (and older) have even frizzier hair than the young ones with naturally wavy and frizzy hair types. However, maybe someday I'll give a bob a next chance. :)

try using hair gum..it works great because it stays like that for days ..the only downside is you can't comb it, you need to wash it after..but if you are lazy when it comes to doing your hair, you can wear the same look for 3 days, because even sleep doesn't destroy it :D

Hi I'm curious, you mentioned you style your hair in late afternoon or evening to give it time to air dry after a wash. How do you keep it looking nice in the morning after sleeping on it? Do you have to refresh the curl s at all or add product to remove frizz from the bedhead?

Hi Vicki, thank you so much! For this haircut I don't believe I had bangs. I ask the hair stylist to cut my hair in a middle part and when I wear it on the side it gets shorter and looks like layers.

I have a long bob and my hair is frizzy/wavy and it looks like frizzy dry straw if I just leave it to air dry without putting it up or anything but I get these gorgeous waves that end with big sleeping beauty type curls JUST from putting my hair in a bun with a velvet scrunchie. The way I do the bun is like doing a normal ponytail except I don’t pull it all the way through and just leave a kind of loop in my hair if you get me.

When I was a kid I hated my natural hair. I hated being in the middle. I wanted either stick straight or cork screw curls. The grass is always greener! It took me a long time to learn how to love my natural features

Well, for some people short hair is effortless. For me my bob was much more high maintenance than long hair. It depends on an individual hair type.

Mine used to be more flat, but I stopped using heating tools for several years and focused on using products that enhanced my waves which helped a lot. I would try that if you have somewhat of a natural wave pattern. Yup! I have a round face myself and everyone says it suits me better than the long hair. I think you should really give it a go if you are ready for the commitment
