Original airdate: 4/20/2018 | In a world as polarized as ours, two cornerstones of convenience store satisfaction separate us like nothing else.
"Personally, I like Wawa," said Anthony Sutcliff, Team Wawa.
"I like Sheetz a lot better," said Team Sheetz member Logan Brigle.
For some, it's truly a question of convenience.
"Sheetz, because it's closer to where I live," Ann Lykens, a Sheetz fan.
For others, it's the food.
"The breaded chicken sandwich, and my kids like the mac and cheese," said Frankie Nielson, a staunch Wawa fan.
And don't forget about the fuel.
"Well, my husband loves the food here at Sheetz, and I love how fast the gas pumps are," said Sheetz fan Laura Yazemboski.
A filmmaker in western Pennsylvania is working on a documentary called Sheetz vs. Wawa to break this debate to its core. It will examine the rivalry between fans of Altoona-based Sheetz and Delaware County-based Wawa.

I had Sheetz one time and lemme tell you, being from NJ, you have zero clue what you're talking about. Wawa is literal dog food compared to my experience at Sheetz in PA. Not even close.

as an outside observer that came from an area that had neither to a place that had both its sheetz and not even comparable. Wawa has decent subs, not as good as like jimmy johns or anything but its fine. Their coffee is decent, but sheetz has everything.

sheetz has a shitton more varieties of food and customization like burgers and such, but wawa has that unique taste and i have a favorite sandwich i always get. it's undecided for me.

I'm a supervisor at Sheetz and and am biased obviously but I really do like our food better. Buttt wawa has some way healthier options.

I'm from Middletown Township DelCo where WaWa is located and I grew up with them, but Sheetz is better, especially since WaWa abandoned fresh sliced cold cuts and fresh rolls,.

Basically East Pa Vs Middle and West Pa MTOs were the first computer order food product in america I believe I rmbr back in the 1990s it was like from the future now its everywhere

Wawa has been my family's go-to place ever since I was little. It's such a nice atmosphere and the food, drinks and other things you can get are always terrific. Sheetz isn't bad, but I mainly go there for the drinks. I had their food and it doesn't hit as much as Wawa.

Wawa for me because I have taken their ready-made sandwiches and Shakes. If you want a location where they are on the same road but opposite sides of the 101st Airborne Highway it's 25th street PA-248 in Easton. One way to explain it it's eastern Pennsylvania Wawa vs Western and central Pennsylvania Sheetz

Wawa. Grew up in NJ. I go to wawa at least 5 times a week. Their mac and cheese and quesadillas are the best items there!! I have had sheetz before. I was traveling to Virginia, and I stopped at one at like 3 am. Their food is okay. It has a bit more variety in food, but it really doesn’t compete to wawa. Also I just think Wawa’s coffee is wayyy better. It might be because I am biased and only had sheetz once, but wawa wins for me :).

agree going to WVU,all they have is sheetz and their food seems like for drunk college kids’ it’s lacks flavors and the uniqueness that Wawa has, Wawa has the best hoagies and the subs from sheetz are worse then the ones you can get at 7-elven

Sheetz. Anyone can make a better hoagie in their kitchen than Wawa. Also, Wawa has an attitude. They shouldn't. It's a convenience store. That's it. Not a company trying to find a cure for a disease. Wawa is overpriced also

Sheetz is like all of the fast food places in one. Can get pretty much anything you want, any way you want it, and if you have a heart attack you'll at least die with a smile on your face. Wawa is like premium quality gas station food - you can rest assured it was probably microwaved within the past few days, and the bathrooms are usually clean enough that you can eat in them and be ready for what's to come. And then there's Rutter's, which is basically the variety of Sheetz with the classic food poisoning taste of Wawa.

I hate Wawa I wish they had sheets here in New Jersey and I can't stand Royal farms Wawa's hoagies are overrated and Royal farms chicken is just terrible but Sheetznow that's a place that you definitely have something they should bring sheets to New Jersey ASAP please come to southern Jersey we need you now
