I stumbled across Simon Khorolskiy videos as my husband lay dying from early-onset Alzheimer's and I wanted to play some favorite hymns for him. COVID-19 has caused me to postpone his memorial service, but this song gives me great comfort. He lost his mother when he was just 14. I know she was waiting for him with open arms.

No one here mentions that the American singer is Chris Rupp who founded the popular acapella group, Home Free. Chris left to do amazing things like this but his brother, Adam still performs with the group. Check them out as well. Beautiful rendition.

I thought it was amazing, then the Russian kicked it, and it got even better, then the orchestral part kicked up, and it got even better, and then came the vocal harmonies. This is just incredible. One of my favorite version of this gospel song . Thank you, brothers. The lyrics being used are changed to the Johnny Cash version. The original is much more Christian and beautiful. Simon, you have an incredible vocal range! I suspected as much in other songs that I've heard you sing, but in this song, it becomes apparent that three octaves are just a 'playground' for your vocal chords. Wow!

Thank you, thank you for your beautiful rendition and beautiful voices! This is my favorite song to sing and play on my quitar. It melts my heart. I've lost my husband, parents and others along the way so I can't hear or sing this song without a few tears but the words are so wonderful and hopeful as they remind me I will see my loved ones again...not only see them, but I can picture them coming to greet me. So tears of sadness turn to Joy! Yay!

Wow guys! I do NOT think of compelling violins when I think of this song. I think of a soft rolling banjo. This song is like coloring in the lines. It's polished and clean. The harmony is perfection. I didn't think I would like it this perfected. It's like something that is supposed to be a bit gritty. However, this is really, really beautiful. I actually love it!!

This song is absolutely beautiful in both languages. Even though I don't understand the Russian language every song that I've heard of yours so far I've absolutely loved. Can some of the videos subtitle don't always work but it still gets the point across you can still feel the love for God in the words which in turn makes you feel the love for God in your own heart thank you for your videos and keep up the great work

Кто вам сказал серьги - это принадлежность к группе людей нетрадиционно ориентации? Впрочем я знаю кто)) Так при СССР говорили, чтобы молодежь не увлекалась западной культурой. Так с кафедры раньше говорили, чтобы пугать миром. И говорили НЕ ПРАВДУ! Учебник по истории и культуре вам всем в помощь. Проблемы у многих, как с историей, так и с культурой. Прочитав комментарии, невольно вспомнилась притча о панке, плачущем на пороге церкви. Для тех, кто не знает - вкратце: "Сидит панк на пороге церкви и плачет. Подошёл Иисус и спрашивает: - Ты чего плачешь? - Они меня выгнали из церкви. - Не расстраивайся, они Меня тоже выгнали. А песня просто прекрасна, все твои песни слушем всей семьей, а потом разшариваем всем знакомым ценителям красивой музыки. Близко знаком с музыкой и понимаю, каких усилий стоит такой результат, не говоря уже о видео. Благословений от Господа, поддержки и понимания от людей, творческих успехов.

I have loved this song since I was a child. Thought I had heard most of the versions of it. Johnny's was my favorite. Until now, HOLY CRAP this is my new favorite version!!!

Очень красиво и трогательно.....на серьгу обратила внимание только после комментов..... мне она не мешает.... Люди, будьте, как дети, они смотрят и слушают то, что трогает их сердце....
