I started listening to country about ten years ago and this era is what I heard first and will die with. The so called country now a days is bullshit. It’s all about drinking and hanging out in your pickup truck. This was real life storytelling said through a song. RIP Waylon, you had a stranglehold on country since the first time you stepped on a stage.

It applied to my life then and it applies to my life now. I have a boyfriend who is the love of my life and Waylons and Jessi’s love songs give me the chills. I love you Waylon and Jessi too.
