@@Oils36 The 80's team had 8 hall of Fame players.!!! Broke all NHL records. I don't recall any other oilers team since then. Lived four blocks from the north land's colosseum since 76. I've didn't miss a game till Gretzky was traded. Only team that came close to having so many stars on the team was Montreal in the 70's.

Gretzky's kids look more grown up,the last time when Gretzkys jersey was raised to the roof, they looked so young time flies doesnt it?.
My very first hockey memory was in 1989 “ the Calgary Flames have won the Stanley Cup”. I don’t remember anything before that. I’m ok with that.

Not an Oilers fan. Sabres fan. Not relevant I guess. Just gotta say. That should be a spark from what messier said. True that a cup doesn't happen unless everyone gives in. A blocked shot good entries or whatever can be all it takes. Wanna see Sabres oilers In a cup. Wish we got Connor. I love watching him. It's an art but jack is still very good and will love anyone on the team. Man how does one team end up with so many legends. Fans prob couldn't even grasp the years in the 80s. Had to have been fun times. I would get butterfly's and cry and lose it if we won a cup
